The crew showed up on the day scheduled, albeit a little late, but they did notify me that they were running behind. The team, led by Elvis, was ready to help and started as soon as they arrived. They worked quickly and efficiently to complete the move in just an hour and a half, much quicker than expected. They were courteous and respectful throughout the process. I would highly recommend them and would be happy to work with them again!

The movers were AMAZING!
However the owner was HORRIBLE & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Upon completion Justin (the owner) requested that I pay him via Venmo or cash app directly and not through hire-a- helper. I requested an invoice be sent prior to me sending the payment because it was odd that Justin wanted me to send money directly to him.
Justin got offended and said he didn’t know why this was an issue and that I was being difficult. He informed me that I would receive an invoice upon receipt of payment.
He also stated that he was on another job and wouldn’t be able to send an invoice for another 20 minutes therefore if his workers have to wait, I will be charged until payment is received.
I immediately called Hire-a-helper where they informed me that I was NOT to pay Justin directly but that I was to go through them then they will release payment.
PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Unless you want to get scammed!

Harry and Elvis worked hard from the minute they arrived not wasting any time. They were able to fit everything i needed to move into the PODS cleverly using every bit of space. I was very pleased with the job completed. Harry and Elvis were polite and hiring them absolutely made my move easier.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Best way to prepare for moving day is to communicate with us on any needs that we might be able to help meet. Also, helps greatly when we have pictures of the heavier items we will be moving.
What types of moves have you handled?
We mainly handle local moves but have done office and long distance moves as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is the progressive stress relief on a customer's face as we accomplish the needs of the day for them specifically.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Currently we meet weekly and discuss how to improve our loading and unloading procedures with pictures we take on every job we are on. We also have incorporated several videos to help guide a new mover to teach a proper thought process when loading and unloading.

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We refund up to one unused hour over our min..
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
