Ready 2 Load Movers

The first movers we selected from the website (which were the least expensive) we were told they were not available so we received a call from a hireahelper.com agent and she stated she could offer a different company but is was about $50 more! so we did accept this as we are older and did need the helpers. These movers were over 3 hours late on the date we had scheduled well in advance. We were not able to leave on our scheduled moving date as the movers were scheduled at 10:00 AM and they showed up around 1:30 PM or after. We had an appointment to go back to the company who rented us the truck at 5:00 PM because they had to do some additional services to our moving truck but, after the hireahelper movers finally got everything loaded, we were almost late for that, it was too late to head out on our cross country move on the saturday we scheduled and we had to leave the next day, so it put our long distance drive back 1 full day. Kerry the hirahelper.com agent stated she would provide a 5% discount on our bill for each hour they were late as a courtesy. there was NO discount on when our credit card was charged - it was the full price. The movers did do a great job when they finally arrived.
Now when we arrive cross country to our final destination, We have another hireahelper.com appointment scheduled for this upcoming saturday and we are hoping that this one will go on as scheduled. We shall see...
