Very prompt and great communication. Called/email ahead several days to confirm and continued to be in touch, even when my date/time changed (Due to a late truck, I had to change the date/time twice - Barry was understanding and modified it every time).
Overall - I have mixed feelings about this mover.
On one hand, Barry was extremely polite and customer service oriented. He even cut a lot of time off the end to account for "not being up to par" - per his definition of how they wanted to move.
On the other hand, he brought a helper that was totally inept. His helper completely lacked any concept of "hustle" - often making a trip into the house with just a small item in my hand and moving rather slow. Barry was hustling the whole time - so this imbalance definitely slowed them down. He constantly had to be told exactly what to do. Plus, on heavier items, this helper seemed completely unable to grasp the concept of how to move furniture with a partner. They came close to wrecking our expensive leather couch because he gripped it wrong, and basically dropped it while unloading it from the truck. Barry was smart enough to put down blankets/pads to avoid damage, but I was extremely nervous.
Like I said - Barry cut about $80 off because of this, which I greatly appreciated. However, I also think it's his responsibility to hire adequate help. I can't really understand how he allows this guy to work for him. There's got to be someone out there with hustle, strength and common sense that he could hire.......
I might use them again - as the experience ended well. Would just insist he use a different helper. And if I just needed to move lighter objects - the heavier objects seemed tough for both of them, as they were older.

This is my second move and Barry team did wonderful job. They were on time and worked hard. He even took care of some stuff to Good will. Took extra care to move the goods and everything was intact.

This was a new experience for us and turned out wonderful. Our movers Barry and Joe were outstanding. We needed to have furniture moved from an upstairs apt to a moving truck. Barry called to confirm date and time and were there on time. We hired them for 2 hour timeframe and they were done within 1.5 hours. They moved our furniture with care, and it was not an easy move. They had to move heavy furniture down about 20 steps. We had straps for the furniture and they secured all of our items into the moving truck. Nothing was broken or damaged and this was a great experience. We will for sure use them next July when we move the rest of our daughters belongings home from college.

Statewide Moving moved my belongings into PODS. It was a large move with heavy pieces. They moved all of the furniture making sure not to damage furniture or floors and walls. They were professional and courteous. They did have a helper not show up on the second day which put the move behind but they did everything possible to make it right.

The men that helped us move confirmed when we made the reservation. They confirmed the day of the move. They were on time the day of the move and were both courteous, helpful, and very consideate of our belongings. They were very professional and well worth the cost of their fee.
