WE PROVIDE LABOR ONLY SERVICES WE LOAD AND UNLOAD YOUR TRUCK POD UNIT STORAGE UNIT CAR VAN ETC. WE TAKE CARE OF ALL YOUR MOVING NEEDS WITH STRONG REFERENCES our fee after the initial 3 hours is 25 dollars per hour, per man. We are a two man team, if a third guy is needed then we can provide more help and we do great work. We are dependable and speedy. Steps above the 3rd floor is an additional $20.

DO NOT USE HELPING HANDS LABOR ONLY. The helper Tony was awful, he didn't know what he was doing. It took one hour to move a love seat. He damanged the love ran past the time and didn't move a third of the furniture. When you see Helping Hands go pass there name. DO NOT USE, DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there was a rating below NEVER AGAIN, I would use it. The movers showed up just before the move was to begin and called me to ask if I could provide equipment (in spite of their listing stating that they would provide equipment free of charge) because their equipment had failed the day before. They scrounged up two carts, a dolly with a slow leak in one tire, and a falling apart moving flat from my building's maintenance staff. This started the move about 20 minutes late (they claimed only 15). The POD they were unloading had been placed across a parking lot from the building so they insisted on an extra fee for shuttling to be paid in cash. The crew person in charge didn't seem to know how to move and every time they brought a piece of furniture to the bottom of a flight of six stairs it took the pair about 10 minutes to sort out how to lift it up the short flight. They were hitting on other residents in the building and even took time to collect at least one phone number (I say at least because the pauses between collecting belongings from my POD and moving it from a reserved freight elevator to my apartment directly across the hall seemed overly long). When they left I still had to unload over half the POD because they had really only managed to unload the furniture due to the leisurely pace they maintained throughout the move. This was not my first time hiring professional movers, but it will definitely be my last time using them.

Anthony and his partner did outstanding work for me and my daughter. He was easy to reach by phone when I had questions or wanted to confirm the move. He and his partner arrived on time, and worked very efficiently and hard: Anthony brought boxes/furniture to the truck and his partner packed the items on the truck very intelligently and very well. Were professional, on time and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend the team.

Overall, the service was satisfactory. I was looking for men who could help me move furniture. I did not specify experienced movers. The result was the funiture was moved from the house to a rented truck with no damage and done within the time frame specified. The negatives were (1)they arrived an hour late and (2) they packed the items incorrectly so that they arrived at the final destination with some scatch damage to furnature surfaces. They were both polite and pleasant individuals. In their defense, I suggested ways to pack the items but that was because they did not propose ways to pack which was their expertise. There was no attempt to suggest changes on how items might be packed differently to conserve space and prevent movement while in transit. Lastly, they did not bring any equipment to help in the move. I would recommend that whomever you hire, you emphasize you do not have moving equipment for their use.
