Where to start? They were so late the Sunday I called they cancelled and rescheduled for the next morning. I was desperate for help so I agreed. They were late the following day as well. Unlike the name of their company (Tuxedo Moving) they arrived in an unmarked, beat up jalopy with no tools and no equipment. They proceeded to move at a snails pace, often standing around waiting for me to tell them what to move next. They took time on a two hour job to take a "smoke break" in their car. When I realized I'd need them for another hour they recommended I call Tuxedo Moving directly as it would be cheaper ($90). I called hireahelper and they quoted me $75. NOT cool. The movers even helped themselves (I regret at my permission) to stuff I couldn't fit in the shipping container I rented. One of them noted he'd take the mattress because his wife would give him lots of sex. Needless to say, I was less than impressed with the professionalism displayed. I surmise had I had an extra day and a half to work with had they arrived on time, I could have sold some of the excess furniture instead of paying a hefty price to have it junked at the last minute. Truly an amazingly terrible experience. One I will NEVER repeat.

I contracted Tuxedo Moving through HireAHelper online to unload a trailer of household goods that had been packed by professionals in Colorado Springs and moved to Emporia, KS. After taking 7 ½ hours for a 5 hour job, the service provided was far from satisfactory. A dresser and chest of drawers were both scratched in multiple places, the bedroom doorjam/stairway door/stairway wall were damaged, there are scrape marks on the washing machine and dryer and two of the leveling feet on the dryer were broken, the freezer was gouged, a desk left in the yard. In light of the damage done, I asked that the refrigerator be left in the garage and later found that the protective grate at the bottom rear of the refrigerator had been bent. Furthermore, despite every box being labeled, many were placed in the wrong rooms/upside down/backwards so the labels could not be read. Lastly, my Browning pistol was stolen from a bedroom closet. Fortunately, it has since been recovered and the perpetrator is being prosecuted. The owner of Tuxedo Moving has refused to make good on the damages and, in fact, has responded with numerous excuses. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY WORK YOU MAY NEED DONE. In my humble opinion, it would be a serious mistake.

Called to say the team would arrive at my house between 12 and 1. Later called to say 3 and 4 yet never heard from the company again. They never called me back and never answered one of my many calls. Don't waste your time find any other provider

We have moved three times in two years. So we know the difference between excellence and okay. This team was okay, not to our satisfaction though. They were not equipped with the tools to move for the wood floor. We ended up having scratches on the wall and the floor after the move. Sometime it just happens in the middle of moving. But I wish when I hire professionals to move it can be avoided
