I was disappointed with our movers. I ordered a 16 foot pod which was supposed to accommodate my 1100 square foot apartment. (I had 14 more boxes, but no washing machine, dryer, or dining table in their example). The movers arrived 30 minutes early which was great and were friendly. However, I did a walk through with them at the beginning letting them know what was priority in case it got tight and asked them if they thought it would fit. I told them 4 bookshelf’s and 24 boxes of books could be left if needed, and asked them to let us know status updates if things changed. Instead of the estimated 3 hours it took 5 and they ended up completely miscalculating. We ended up with a tv stand, 10 boxes, 8 bookshelfs, a high chair, a side table, and 2 nightstands that didn’t make it. They loaded our furniture last which seemed to be the issue as they slowed way down as they ran out of space. They ended up loading - 1 king bed, 1 twin bed, 1 desk, 1 couch (not a sectional/normal sized), 1 coffee table, 2 tvs, 3 dressers, a chair and 64 boxes which is far less than what was supposed to fit and what they told us repeatedly through the move would fit. What was supposed to cost $500 end up costing over $750. And as things got tighter they took no care for the labels - my 2 boxes of dishes marked fragile are shipped across country on their side, our TV was flipped upside down - really disappointed with the service as I’m now left with thousands of dollars of furniture I need to buy when I move since it didn’t make it on our truck. Would really not recommend. Poor communication day of.

We had the best experience with BC Moving. Their efficiency was incredible. And their ability to Tetris all of our things in our pod was shocking! In addition, they were very kind and respectful and patient with our kids who wanted to know everything.

Bernard and his helper were amazing!!! They arrived early and walked through the house with my daughter to evaluate how much stuff she was moving! They took upmost care in wrapping and moving the heavier items! I was SO impressed with how quickly they worked, yet paid close attention to each and every item!! I would HIGHLY recommend this company as they made packing the pod look easy!!!
