Our movers came with three people. One man was recently injured and had a limp which slowed him down, the other had a heart condition that he told us about and the other was a girl. Initially I was disappointed by the trio, but the girl proved to be quite impressive. She was the strongest of the three and had a great work ethic. I felt that the two men stood around a lot trying to figure out what should be picked up next while she was actively moving items instead of discussing it. I would be hesitant to hire this company again due to the information I shared combined with my scratched floors and walls. I would, however, have the girl help anytime as she was a wonderful worker.

The two men showed up promptly. The leader informed me right away that the regular guys who were familiar with loading ABF trucks had bailed on him , but he didn't want to let me down. Immediately it became obvious that their packing skills were lacking. I ended up getting sweaty helping my helpers. They were generous with their time , but I must say the first 30 minutes were preoccupied with landing another job later in the day. I would not recommend this crew unless they promised to send the A team.

The guys from A&B Moving were great! They were on time and were ready to get right to work. They worked hard - straight through the two hours for which we hired them. Not only that, but we moved into a two floor apartment (2nd and 3rd floor in the building - no elevator) and they never complained or slowed down once. They took their time moving bulky and heavy furniture up through narrow stair and hallways, very respectful of all our belongings and the freshly painted walls! Without a doubt I would hire them again!

These guys were amazing - they made every effort to work with me to achieve what seemed impossible: moving a 1 BR apartment into a 10 ft UHaul truck and move in 2 hours. They handled everything with care and were extremely helpful. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely use their services again.

They arrived on time and worked hard with a sense of urgency, even though I was paying them on a per-hour fee. Due to some scheduling problems with our rental truck, they arrived as scheduled but a few minutes before we could start working; they offered to not charge us until they started working.
Barry runs his business with integrity. He was very careful with our property when loading the truck, and his helper was strong as an ox. He even sent me a follow up email a couple of days later to check in and see how our move-in went in the other state!
I would definitely recommend Barry and A&B Moving! We did not have as fortunate an experience with similar hired help on the other end of our out-of-state move.
