The movers showed up 2 hours late. They were supposed to be on the job at 10 am with a 1 hour window. They could have been considered 1 hour late but we called a bit after 10 am to ask where the movers were. The owner said that he didn't know he was supposed to be there on that day and had the gall to ask me if I needed movers. Well, let's see, we were scheduled to be in NYC the next day so I'm not sure where he could have gotten the mistaken impression that we needed movers--especially when we requested them for this day!!! He did send out a couple of guys who did a decent job although one box ended up upside down (happened to be the one box with all the breakable items). Fortunately only one item broke. They moved things well, and were very respectful--although a bit slow. Took us 7 hours total--with a 1 hour lunch on their time. I've done moves like this before in 2 hours so this was a bit long. I've moved dozens of times so I consider myself a semi-expert on moving! So we liked the movers and didn't care much of the company that was hired. HireAHelper did a **GREAT JOB** helping us out--so they can't be held responsible for the bumbling moving company. Although, I would have liked more off. They only gave us $25 for the mix up. I would have expected them to give us our two hours back! That's about $100!!

They were difficult to get a hold of at first, but once I finally made contact they were okay. The man I spoke with tried several times to change the time of their arrival, but when I became irritated they arrived on time and completed the job to my satisfaction.
