I scheduled to have 2 men to come and move some furniture from second floor to first floor for August 3rd. someone called me the night before to confirm. so the next day comes and they never showed up. no call at all. I called several times and left messages but no one ever returned calls. DO NOT USE THEM.

I’ve never had such a bad experience before. These idiots put all of the boxes marked fragile on the bottom, thus piling the move heavy boxes on top of them. My furniture wasn’t secured and so it bumped and bounced around scuffing and breaking most things. The boxes weren’t stacked in a way that would prevent them from falling over either. The movers were lazy and slow. And I’m convinced did this to waste time. I had a vehicle plenty big enough and they “didn’t have room for more”. I know this isn’t the case because of how they loaded it.

Are they good movers? They never showed. Called us at 4:15 and said they would be here at 6:00. Our original appointment was 4:00-5:00. Tried to call when no one showed and no one would answer my calls. Just tell me you aren't coming. We had a truck full of furniture in a rental truck! Thank goodness Hire a Helper found someone else to unload the truck!

Our service was scheduled between the range of 5pm-6pm. When I hadn't heard from the movers by 5:15, I gave their manager a call, and he reassured me that they had just finished up elsewhere and that they would "definitely arrive between 5pm-6pm." Unfortunately, they arrived around 6:25pm clearly frustrated by the previous move and traffic. Additionally, the two movers seemed more motivated to get the job done as quickly as possible rather than making sure things were placed in the proper rooms or taken care of. I also had an issue with the manager reassuring me that they would be on time, only for the movers to show up well past the agreed upon window.
I don't blame the two movers for being frustrated as I think that the scheduling of these two back to back moves was more of the problem. They were young and apologetic, and seemed to be caught in-between.
With all of that said, the job was finished quickly, and there is no major damage to our belongings.
