The absolute slowest movers I’ve ever had. Booked for two hours per the recommendation, took them over 4. So I had to pay almost double for horrible service.
They also gave up near the end, just shoving things into the POD, making it so many items didn’t fit. It took us hours to re arrange their bad work and attempt to get items in the POD.
It was truly one of the worst days of my life and these movers were a big part of it. Do not recommend at all.

The service we received was great, and they persevered through some rather humid weather to make sure we had our belongings in our home. My only knock is that they did not arrive when scheduled, and when I called to inquire about their arrival, learned they did not have us scheduled. In the end, they rallied and made it to us, albeit an hour and half late. I'm not sure whether this was an oversight on the part of Hire a Helper or Big Way Movers, but if I had not called, we would not have had anyone to help us.

Tosh and Q were amazing! I don't remember the other two guys names, but all four of them polite, they came EARLY which was great for us and worked really hard. Great attitude and great guys! Totally recommend HireAHelper!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A friendly voice to confirm your appointment, any additional details about your move and answer any questions you may have! This is the time to let me know exactly what you expect out of the crew! Whether you want us to utilize the time helping you wrap your furniture, packing/unpacking or just loading/unloading your truck.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Expect a confirmation call from us the day before, however, upon request, we can text or phone you when we are on the way or any recommended verification requested. We will ARRIVE on TIME, be professional, courteous, hardworking and friendly! Our crews have been working together for a long time and have an awesome chemistry that works to achieve expected goals.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure boxes are packed in appropriate sizes, taped and marked clearly if FRAGILE so they can be placed on top of everything else! Put everything you can in boxes to save time! We can help with this if you request! Clear dressers of heavy items before wrapping (lighter items ok!). Have blankets readily available to prevent damage to wood, leather and delicate materials. Straps should be provided (or we can provide them if requested) for appliances and pianos!
What types of moves have you handled?
Big Way Movers is equipped and experienced for local moves of ALL sizes. We've completed large jobs such as farm houses, businesses such as Bed and Breakfasts and churches and have experience moving offices, nursing homes, retirement homes and moves within the same building. Apartments, townhomes and houses of all sizes including piano moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It is most satisfying to help one relieve the stress of moving, but it is AWESOME to meet the many different people!
What training do you provide your crew members?
On the job training is most efficient, however, we do make sure this does NOT interfere with your move! Our professionals have been on the job for 5 plus years, however, we do continuously strive to improve at all times. Videos for pro-movers and materials are given to each one of our movers to ensure everyone is cross-trained for all requested services.
