Here is my no-show experience with Foxhound. First off, the owner Daniel is a super nice guy who really tried hard to accommodate me. Daniel doesn't work at packing anymore due to back trouble. I had two of his helpers scheduled to arrive in the morning. Come 2:30pm no one had shown up or called to advise when they would arrive. A phone call to Daniel led to the discovery that his guys had simply disappeared. They wouldn't answer there phones. Fortunately HireAHelper was very responsive to the situation and found me two other moving pros. I was a day late in my schedule but no biggy. Daniel you need to find yourself some more reliable employees.

My task was a small one...moving about eight pieces of furniture and a dozen boxes from a PODS unit on my street into my two floor home. In setting up the appointment I disclosed that one item was a baby grand piano, and because of it agreed to pay a $300 piano surcharge and hired four helpers instead of the two I thought I needed. I even wrote FoxHound specific instructions to bring equipment for moving a piano. Yet the helpers brought no equipment, had no idea how to lift a piano, and wound up having to rest it on the concrete numerous times and damaged the finish.

TERRIBLE!!! Called at 3:00 on Friday to reserve 2 helpers for 2 hours to unload my truck. The only time they had available was between 6-7pm so I gladly took it. At around 4:30 I called the rep from Foxhound confirming my appointment where he stated they would only be 18 minutes away performing a simple unload and should be on time. At around 5:30 the moving crew called me to say the same thing that they should be there between 6-7 no problem. At 7:30 they still hasn't arrived so I called both the rep (who still hasn't returned my calls a week later) and the crew. The moving crew guy said there was a miscommunication and they were driving to jersey city which is 2 hours away from me. Nobody bothered to call me at any point when they found out they wouldn't be arriving at the time I scheduled for them. Nor did they try and call someone else to pick up the job. Out of options and almost in tears, I basically begged him to come afterwards now that all the other companies were closed for me to call a backup. They showed up to my house high and wreaking of marijuana at ONE IN THE MORNING!! They didn't finish the move until 3am. This is absolutely unnacceptable to send a movers to a young girl's house at this hour! They ripped my tempurpedic mattress, bled on it and sweat all over it. I'm horrified by the lack of concern for my time and money. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Company worked fast. So fast that they basically threw our stuff into the van. Many many things were damaged on the trip here. When I tried to discuss this with the manager he was insulting and rude.

They were fast and easy to work with. Teyo was especially on top of things and good at getting things done. If you request something in the online system, just be sure you confirm it on the phone--we asked them to bring tools to assemble a piece of furniture, and the message got lost somewhere. We'd definitely hire them again!

They showed up on time, but it's like they were being timed. They unloaded the truck contents into a garage and it looks like a tornado went through the garage. You can't even walk into the garage. I paid for two hours, they were done in about 45 mins and we are left with a mess. The one guy was in the truck and the other was putting the stuff in the garage, so we can't really blame the guy in the truck. He actually turned a tool box upside down to stack it. We needed help to unload the truck, but now we're going to have to bust our asses to organize this mess
