This move was a nightmare. They were late, only one of the guys was actually strong and could lift the heavier things, they reeked of weed, the skinny guy had something wrong with his ankle and really did nothing the whole time, they did a horrible job packing our breakables (many dishes are broken) and wasted wrapping on many items that aren't breakable, they were slow and disorganized, and broke or damaged several pieces of furniture which we now have to replace. We ended doing quite a bit of the work, were sore and tired, and now unpacking and discovering damage to so many things. They also did not get everything at our house out so now we have to go back and finish moving that stuff on our day off from work. This was worse service ever!!!

They were great ?? They were on time and got right to work . What theses guys did in the time they did it was crazy and this move was not a first floor it was a Third Floor move. I 62 and my girlfriend is 67 these guys were a God send ! Thanks Bryan

This was a nightmare experience working with BCB Moving Labor Services. They never called me to confirm or discuss the move; I had to call them. Even then, they seemed disorganized and had to search for the details even though they had confirmed to Hire A Helper. They showed up on time on the move date, but immediately began making comments about how they weren't going to be able to do the job they had accepted (and tried to make it sound like it was my fault). They showed up with more people than I asked for as if they were looking to find ways to increase the overall cost. They worked for only 2.5 hours even though I had requested 4 hours and drove off with my things to hold overnight, leaving the job unfinished, but insisting payment for the work done already. It was like a hostage situation ... pay now or maybe you won't get your things. The workers were decent guys, but they did a good bit of damage to my property -- taped directly on leather furniture without covering it first, broke a desk drawer, damaged a door at the property from which I was moving, and even left the place wide open when they left so that anyone could have walked in. The owner is totally about getting the money and could care less about delivering a positive customer experience. I expected to pay more than the estimate, but it ended up being almost twice that amount and it felt like it was deliberate on BCB's part.
The company might be okay for the college kids in the area, but an established adult should look elsewhere. I would never use this company again and warn everyone else to steer clear of this unprofessional operation.
- You requested 2 movers and a 16ft truck for 4 hours when you needed 3 OR 4 movers and a 26FT-TRUCK.
- We gave you 4 movers for the price of 2 because we had to get to the other family whose move was supposed to follow yours. (It was not right for you to ask us to no-show at that move when you clearly had more flexibility.)
- We sent movers back to your old house to get your TV so that you could hook up your cable AT NO CHARGE!
- We kept the items overnight AT NO CHARGE!
- We showed up as promised and delivered your items and moved the rest.
- You were UNDERCHARGED for this move by hundreds of dollars.
A compromise had to be made because you did make a mistake in your booking. Everyone was courteous, professional and tried to work with you as best as they could. I am sorry that it was not enough, but we wish you well.

On time and was accommodating (hired a 1 man job but I unexpectedly had a couple larger items to move). Seemed rushed and could have been a bit more careful with items, especially since the job was booked for 2 hours and only took a little more than an hour.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We have a 100% show-up rate, meaning we never cancel on our clients. Once you book, you can have peace of mind that the best set of movers in Massachusetts are going to show up to perform well.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The move leader gives a courtesy call once the crew leaves our office. You can keep in contact with him throughout the day on that number. We arrive on time or earlier and well equipped with boxes, tape, blankets, straps, dollies, etc.

What training do you provide your crew members?
Movers do not start carrying furniture until they learn the basics in hand and foot position, shifting, and protecting furniture. Furthermore, It is a team profession and working with your partner is key to the company's success so learning how to protect yourself physically is also important.
