It was my first experience with HireAHelper and Movingupmovers set the bar. I got a call within 24 hours of booking them on the web site. The day of the job we coordinated their arrival. Once on site a quick overview and the two started moving and worked hard. Alonso also had a clear picture of the order in which things should go on the truck considering weight, space and protection. In the end we were done loading my 2BR w/ basement in less than 2 hrs. Thanks guys! Would hire you again.

MovingUPMovers came prepared and ready to work. They were very diligent and respectful of my property and items. They were able to maximize the space in the Pod and apply their expertise in properly loading it. They also worked efficiently, completing the job within the hired time schedule. They were very receptive to my needs. They didn't take advantage considering that I was in the house alone. They are sincere, respectful, and humble people. They did an awesome job. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Alonzo and his coworker began the job with staying I didn't have a lot of belongings in my storage unit but proceeded to unpack my storage unit and pack my moving truck without expertise. Upon my suggestion of taking the larger furniture out first, Alonzo responded with "please let me pack the truck". Shortly after he had to unpack the moving truck with the boxes he put in order to fit the larger furniture. As the job continued, I realized Alonzo and his coworker did not come with any sort of supplies - ropes, etc. - to facilitate the moving process. I reported having a couch, tv stand and dresser to the HireAHelper. Additionally, Alonzo complained when I asked that he removed the dresser draws before moving the dresser due to the fact I thought it was rather heavy to carry with them in the dresser. Finally, when Alonzo and his coworker finally arrived at my apartment to unload the truck. I noticed there wasn't particular care being taken to carry my belongings into my apartment carefully. Upon noticing a scratch on my dresser I asked Alonzo if he could try to be careful with the rest of my belongings. He responded by raising his voice to me repeatedly. Unfortunately, Alonzo made my moving experience an interesting one. I hope his company is taken off your roster of choices and your future customers are aware of the chance they are taking.
