I reserved two people to unload a moving truck with all of my belongings at 0900 May 21st. The responsible person Andrew Franz, contacted me by phone the night before and confirmed the time and address. He said he would arrange for the people to be there which seemed strange to me at the time since he had known about my requirement for a week prior to this, but I let it slide. On the morning of the 21st I showed up early to get everything setup for unloading the truck, disconnecting a car trailer and backing the truck up to the storage space I had rented. Their arrival time came and went. I waited 15 minutes and called Mr Franz on the phone number listed on the "Job Accepted" email confirmation sent to me the week before. It answered as "phone temporarilly disconnected". I waited another 15 minutes and tried his alt number listed (which I hadn't noticed before) and got the same response - "phone temporarilly disconnected". I waited another 10 minutes and when no one showed I called the truck rental agency and asked if they knew of anyone I could get on short notice to unload the truck. They checked around and put me in contact with a moving company who agreed to have some people there in an hour, which I agreed to seeing that I had no indication that the Hireahelper movers where ever going to show-up. About ten minutes after that two people did show up from Hireahelper. The first thing they said was someone gave them the wrong address. I found that to be the stupidist statatement possible since all the paperwork and phone conversations refered to the correct address AND TIME! I fired them on the spot and told them to leave. I might also point out that one of the two people who showed up was a young girl who probably weighed all of 90lbs. I have nothing against women doing any kind of work they want to do but I find it hard to believe this person could have even handled some of the items I had on the truck (about 5000 lbs).
I would suggest that a little more background checking of your independent contractors be put in place. Things like this destroy a company over time and working with this contractor was a waste of my and your time.

This provider called me the night before to confirm the move. On the day of the move they NO CALLED NO SHOWED. My wife and I were forced to move as much as we could ourselves. I will NEVER consider this provider again and will probably only deal with commercial well established movers in the future!

We had three bedroom apartments. The three gentlemen showed up early and prepared to load. They moved fast and very good at organizing the boxes. Very respectful and friendly. Would use the service again. Out down stair neighbor was impress how fast they work, we recommend using the service.

Handy Andy's Service did an excellent job for us. Andy called me ahead of time and worked out the arrangements with me and set all necessary expectations. He and his partner arrived ready to work and performed to my highest expectations. They handled the furniture and boxes with great care, pointed out damage that happened during the move itself (which had nothing to do with their work), treated my family and I with great respect - in short, they did a superb job and I would highly recommend them. If/when the need arises, I would definitely use them again.
