I would NEVER consider using them again. They were nice enough, but they packed my truck so carelessly that by the time I unloaded 1000 miles away almost every piece of furniture was damaged. I rented 30 furniture pads and found about 8 of them just piled up still folded. They placed a fireplace tool set directly on a brand new end table (no furniture pad to cushion the table) and scratched it all up. Boxes were packed upside-down (including a lamp) with heavy boxes of books on top of boxes marked fragile. They were in a big hurry to get to another job and just weren't careful at all.

Mark and Mike of Makin Movers were unbelievable helpers. We had 4 relo cubes and they unpacked them in no time. They were careful with our belongings and very pleasant to deal with. They went the extra mile and were by far the best movers we've ever had. I would use them again in a heart beat. Thanks!

I hired Making Moves NY to load 18 feet of space on a Movex truck. I talked to Mike and he agreed that 3 hours should do the job. On moving day, he called after saying that one more hour was needed. I authorized and paid the additional hour. Crew left at 4 hours - did NOT COMPLETE the job. They said they had to leave to go do another job instead of finishing mine. As a result, the customer that paid me to coordinate the loading and unloading cancelled her unloading job, costing me $450 and also wants 1/2 her money back because Mike left her before completing the loading.
