This is our 4th or 5th time using Smart Move. They are absolutely incredible, and their service is consistently exceptional, even across locations. We moved my mom from Burlington, NC to Cary, NC, and they took care of business. They arrived within the estimated window (which they considered a little on the late side - no complaints here at all). I had ordered 4 movers for 4 hours, but only two showed up. Instead of waiting, they started right in, communicating with the home office the whole time. Those two did 4 people's job, and they did it very well. They were well equipped and had a wonderful attitude in the midst of this unexpected snafu. When I called the office to get an updated invoice because of the no shows, they were very quick to help out, adjust it, and work with Hire A Helper so that I wasn't overcharged. My husband and I already love them, and they just impressed us that much more. I will shout it from the mountain tops - use Smart Move - even in the unexpected happenings, they will take care of you 100%!!!!

Couldn't have gone any better. My 16'x8' Pod arrived so I reserved 2 people for 2 hours. I had a lot of boxes that needed to go upstairs but only three pieces of furniture requiring two people to unload those. The guys were prompt, on time, careful with my stuff, and double-checked on occasion when something wasn't labeled or looked like it should go somewhere else in my house. Before unloading day, the company stayed in great communication and made me feel great about hiring them. I have a couple more Pods coming and I will be sure to use these folks again. Please remember to tip the folks if they did a good job for you.

We are experienced in and ready to handle local moves, long-distance, residential, commercial, office, military, and jobs requiring 50+ movers. We handle nationally selected VIP moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training consists of live experience at our warehouse before going in our customers' homes.
