Sean & his helper were very nice & early to the job. They were prepared & had no problems with me not having moving pads for our furniture. They worked very hard & it was not an easy job considering how bad rapid loaders loaded our truck in san diego. They handled our stuff with care & paid attention to the items we wanted to put aside. Sean was able to do magic, in my opinion. He fit my husbands 2 car garage of tools & garage items into an 8 x 12 unit!! We would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely, positively, and without hesitation would use them again, and would not have any reservations recommending them to friends, family, or enemies. Well maybe not my enemies, but you get the idea. English Connection was on time, professional and were very careful handling my furniture. They also worked very efficiently, not wasting time or working purposely slow.

During the unloading of the pod, Sean broke the marble top to an antique dresser and did not even offer to have it repaired! Sean was the person that actually originally loaded this pod. He had slid the marble top in between two pieces of furniture. When one of those pieces was moved, the marble top fell over and cracked in half! It should have been strapped down when he loaded it to begin with. We are very upset! This dresser is an heirloom... over 120 years old!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Professional service. Years of experience handling furniture and loading and unloading. Sean is a fully trained Antique Restorer, trained in UK in late 1980s, so he knows how to handle furniture and load/unload so everything arrives at destination in perfect condition.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We arrive on time, if there is a delay due to a previous job going longer than anticipated, we contact the next customer immediately and explain and give the adjusted time .
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Be ready for us at set time booked by customer. Box up as much as customer can themselves, if not booked packing services by us. Inform us of any changes to order as soon as possible. Unhook appliances that are being moved, especially the washer/dryer. and seal them so no leaks can happen during transit. Rent of buy,moving pads and ratchet straps or string so we can wrap furniture and secure the load. Do not rely on the movers to bring them, as it is the customers responsibility to get them.
What types of moves have you handled?
Long distance, offices, but mostly houses and apartments.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting customers from all over the country and the world. Being able to help them start a new life in a new home etc.
What training do you provide your crew members?
I personally train them myself to do loads and unloads as I was trained in UK and USA.
