We had the moving truck parked in our driveway and needed to be out of our home the next day . . . this company did NOT show up!! No phone call, no nothing. Awful! That experience added more stress than we needed. Fortunately, Hire-A-Helper was able to get us another moving company ("Illinois Valley Movers") that was able to help us load the same day. Thank goodness. Would never consider hiring "Verlys Pro Moving Labor" again. Could not believe the lack of communication during such an important job.

OMG, I can't believe this company. I had a 8-9 am move scheduled. I hadn't heard from the company that morning by 7:00 on their ETA. I called and no answer. I called again and no answer. I called until 7:45 and still no answer. I called Hire A Helper and they tried to contact the movers and no luck. I had to have my truck in Houston by 10:00 am the next morning to where I had another company scheduled to unload my truck. Hire A Helper were able to get another company however it would have been hours later. I had 2 neighbor to load my truck. I also had a wedding to get to that I missed. I still haven't heard from the company with an apology or explaination. Don't use them!!! Bad business!!

After confirming multiple times. They NO SHOWED. They never responded to any calls. I would never ever use them. They absolutely caused my move to be horrible chaos. Lloyd’s Movers came at 4 pm would use them. They were great.

They never showed up! I called for confirmation, left messages. Then, when I called their mailbox was full!! I was finally called back after 2:00 pm, but they were supposed to be here between 12 & 1!! Will never consider using them again!!

They were respectful and on time. It was a super hot day and I didn’t hear them complain. They reassembled things when arriving to the new house. Definitely would use them in the future!

The actual movers from Verlys we’re fine. However, my scheduled tome was pushed back about 5 hours late, and there was poor communication in letting me know the true time frame for getting the service done. I had to load furniture and drive it to the drop off location myself because of how late the service was. There was a small discount, but the final price paid did not reflect the amount of service done. It seems like this may have been a more rare occurrence for Verlys, but it was still difficult as a customer.
