I needed to find a mover within 36 hours notice - I was planning on doing it myself until I heard about the 12 steep steps down to the freight elevator, which made me realize I could not do it myself. HarlemExpressInc came to my rescue. They moved everything from my rental truck into 1BR apartment quickly and expertly. It was a hot day and the steps were terrible, but they moved all of the stuff perfectly. They showed up on time, which is not a given in this business as I have found out in the past. I would hire them in a second. Their prices were among the best and their high rating is much-deserved. The movers were Marvin and Eric and communicating with Mark was easy and he was responsive at every moment. DO IT!!! Call them now if you need a mover.

The team arrived about 9:30am and left around 2pm. We paid them an additional $250. We were surprised that it cost more than expected. We also gave each man $20. They did not move the washer and dryer and we did not notice until they left. Our son in law came down and spent yesterday moving those items along with more boxes and garage items. The UHaul truck was full but after they left we thought they should have taken the w/dryer and left some boxes. They were polite and courteous.

Marvin was great, he answered my calls when I needed him and showed up on time to help us. He worked fast and efficiently. He was very careful with my things and even helped me figure out the parking on the street since I didn't know the rules. He was very friendly and didn't care that he ran over time a little bit. I highly recommend Harlem Express and will be using them again when we move again.

We used Marvin and his friend to move a very heavy couch out of our house. The movers had so much trouble originally getting it in years before, we were worried that we'd never be able to get it out. Well, Marvin got that couch out in no time and didn't even touch a wall on his way out! He and his friend were friendly, funny and very careful. We would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others!
