The crew did a great job loading up my moving truck. My items stayed secured with little shifting during an out of state move. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was simply because my order was missed and I had to call to make sure someone was coming to home. Which meant they were late getting started. However, the guys got all of my home loaded in less than 2 hours and were very polite and helpful.

I called B&L the night before my confirmed time and was told that the three laborers I requested would arrive between 9 AM and 10 AM as requested. B&L also confirmed the laborers would be at my job for at least 3 hours and longer if I needed. I got a call from B&L about 9 AM that was on my voice mail. They had an emergency job in Virginia due to the hurricane approaching. All personnel were being sent to Virginia. I called Jennifer and confirmed that the laborers would not show up due to the emergency. I informed her that the hurricane was going to hit North Carolina, not Virginia and that we had an emergency here. She informed me that the best she could do is re-schedule our job. If I fail to cancel 24 hours before the schedule time, I get a $150 penalty. If I cancel within 1 hour of the schedule time the penalty doubles. B&L cancel at the scheduled time - no penalty for them. You can't trust B&L to show up despite confirmation the night before.

I was disappointed because they were supposed to be here between 7-8am and did not arrive till 9:30am. And they did not bring the requested rope and wrapping tape. They were in a hurry and one fell coming down the stairs with one of my dressers slamming the dresser into the railing of the stairs - the drawers were still in the dresser but not secured in any way. They were done in only 1 1/2 hrs but only hope my furniture is secure as I only had some very thin rope and had to asked them to tie several things in more securely. They were very fast and friendly but not sure I would call them again.

The 1st appointment they didn’t show for was due to car problems (understandable). At first they wanted us to pick them up as they were only a few minutes from us, which we were going to do. Then the office called and said they were going to get another crew to us late afternoon. Apparently the 1st crew had a bigger job scheduled after us that was more important. In the Late afternoon received another call saying it would be 9 pm before they could get here and could they reschedule for the next morning. For the 2nd time I explained to the same person that our POD was being picked up the next morning. I ended rescheduling the POD pickup for Monday (which caused a lot of other problems) with the promise the moving “techinicians” would be here 1st thing the next morning. They did not show and would not return my calls. I believe they never intended to show. Despite being stressed and upset I was never anything but polite to them. There should be a zero star rating!

They did a great job. We had them unload a couple of PODS on a cross country move. They were delayed in arriving, but once they were here they did a great job unloading and assembling our stuff. They were very careful moving the furniture and in putting the boxes in the right rooms.

I hired B&L Labor to help move items from a 28' trailer into a residence and also into a moving van, which was then unloaded at a storage unit. The two guys that showed up for my call, Kale (sp?) and Q, really busted it out and got the trailer unloaded into the house and moving van within the 3 hour period, and then followed me to the storage unit and unloaded into the storage unit. They did a great job, and I would recommend!

We had a tragedy that turned into a blessing by Kel and Janeil. My wife and I hired 2 movers who were on their way to move us when they were involved in an accident and were hospitalized. Mind you this is December 23rd at 11am and this other company had no more people to send so we made some phone calls and found out B&L Labor service had 2 guys available that day and said they could arrive between 3 and 4 or as soon as their previous job was complete. I received a call from Kel telling me they were on their way and they arrived at 4 with 2 firm handshakes and the mindset that they were there to make things go smoothly. Remember they just came from a job but you would never know it because they lifted all of our HEAVY furniture without 1 complaint. These guys were respectful and extremely careful with each thing they moved. I hired them for 2 hours and they did the job in 1.5 hours. Honestly it was a Christmas Blessing to have them do this job and if you are ever looking for the best 2 guys for a move ask for Kel and Janeil and i promise you wont be disappointed! Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 15% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
