I recently hired Morris Moving and Storage to help me unload my uhaul when I moved to Houston. They were on time and unloaded my truck in under an hour even with having to carry everything up a flight of stairs. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs moving labor help!

They were an answer to prayer. So many things went wrong with this move but they were there offering solutions and being understanding. I highly recommend them!

They were on time, well prepared, and very nice. That said, they flipped my favorite small buffet on its side to go on the dolly and dislodged the internal shelf and broke off the knob. It can be fixed, but the buffet could easily have been carried in upright and more carefully. They unloaded the pod in 1/2 hour, so I could not keep track of where they were taking things (not really as directed) or how they were unloading items. It would have been better If they asked a few more questions and went more carefully.
The knob on your buffet had been previously broken off and glued with a glue that wasn’t for wood. It is necessary to put certain items on Dollie’s to get them into difficult locations..
When the piece was packed and wrapped for loading whatever was inside would have been removed.
Our guys caused 0 damage and the knob fell off due to the pad being removed and the humidity in Galveston causing the glue that was used to fail.
Items were placed exactly where you instructed each one to go. Our guys did a walk through with you after and confirmed the items were staged appropriately.

The two guys who came to work were great! They worked hard and I liked them. I was NOT happy that their boss asked them to leave over an hour early even though I had prepaid. I guess I could have said "no" but it put it me in an awkward position. It also put the burden on me to get refunded for that hour. While I really liked the workers, I would not use them again.
The guys made us aware of a very uncomfortable situation in your home and asked if they could wrap the job up and leave. They felt their job was done and was asked to stay around just to keep someone company, and they really wanted to exit the situation and get to their next job after rearranging your home for 6 hours.

Our movers arrive and ask for a quick walkthrough of the property, and at this time you should express any concerns you have or special request you may have.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Try to make sure boxes are sealed and ready to be moved, if there are any items not to be moved please make sure they are marked.

We handle all types of moves, from local, long distance, residential and commercial.

We enjoy the diversity of clientele we see on a daily basis. We love hearing our customers stories and memories of the previous home and plans for their new home.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our Movers are sent out with veteran movers with over 5 years experience to learn the ropes, the do's and don'ts of moving.
