Chose Unity considering they have some great reviews both here and on google. However, on the day of the move, they were scheduled to arrive between 2 pm-3 pm but didn't show up until about 6:30 pm. They initially called and said they were running late because of another move but that was fine since they were communicating and let us know. I was told they were finishing up and putting a bed together or something. Finally, around 5:30ish my husband called and they were finally on their way and an hour away. They get there and only took about an hour to load our moving truck, we had hired them for four hours just in case. The movers told me I could talk to HireAHelper to get a refund on the unused hours, they have a two-hour minimum so I expected to be refunded for two of the four. Except when Hireahelp reached out to them they claimed they could only refund one hour and lied saying they were late because what they were supposed to load wasn't there... Even though I picked my moving truck up at 9:30 am that morning and had been WAITING ON THEM. I'm sure this is a good company, maybe they were just having an off day but lying is unacceptable.
The movers themselves were nice enough and worked quickly.

On there moving day the client will be contacted by Unity Professional movers to notify that the crew is enroute and go over any last minute moving plans!!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for a upcoming move is to have everything boxed or bagged and ready to be loaded or unloaded. We always tell our clients that our guys move faster when everything is packed and ready. A mover is able to transport more things thats boxed then carrying one or two things by hand.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All our crew members are hired as moving helpers, that allow us to see a movers experience by them having the least responsibilities! We know within 3 moves as a moving helper a movers experience.
