They were hours late, truck got stuck in the mud when they finally arrived, did not bring appropriate equipment and had to go to Home Depot to buy dollies, their truck got stuck in the mud when the worker was coming back to my house. He had to leave the truck and walk thru the mud to get back, it took hours! Then they left early and rescheduled three times for the next day, because they had another job they wanted to get to in the morning, and they never came back to finish the job, and still tried to charge me. Thankfully I took good notes and kept calling Hire a Helper to inform them about every weird moments as they were happening. It was a very strange experience. I wish the company the best, but I would NEVER work with them again. I’m only sharing this because Hire a Helper asked me several times to leave a review for other movers who might be looking for workers.

First, the good. The two gentlemen who came to help pack my POD were polite and respectful. They were careful with the furniture and household items, and gave me instruction about covering and wrapping the furniture for protection. They packed the POD well, except at the end.
Now, the not so good. I never heard directly from the company to confirm the order/move. The telephone number provided went to voice mail, and the mailbox was full. I sent emails, texts and tried the phone number several times. Someone finally did call me about 2 hours before they were supposed to arrive.
I paid for 3 hours to pack. They did not arrive with any tools, equipment, etc. as the agreement stated. Fortunately I had family members and tools to help.
After about 1.5 hours, most things were packed, but not all. There was discussion about how much more could fit. It seemed as though they just wanted to finish and leave. They precariously piled some chairs on the top of larger items, roped them in, and said that was all that could fit. We discussed options for the remainder. So after 2 hours, they left. My family members and I were a little distraught about not all items fitting. So, we unpacked the front part, moved some items around, and we were able to get everything in the POD that needed to go. It took us 45 minutes, but we got it done. I felt a little ripped off - since I had paid for 3 hours (no refunds of time) but did not get ALL the service that I paid for. But, my POD is packed and ready to go, and I was glad that they showed up and did most of the job.
Would I hire them again, no. But maybe for some people they will work well.

You should expect direct communication with us. We will be in contact when crew members are in route to your destination.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
They can expect a extremely polite crew with high quality performance the whole duration of the job with no breaks taken by the movers and communication prior to arrival.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should have all materials needed for their move prior to arrival(Ratchet Straps , Moving Pads, Plastic Wrap, etc.) Crew Members will arrive with a Hand Truck and a Toolset and will disassemble anything that is needed!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been all over! We've done long distance jobs as far as New Mexico. We have experience in Military Moves .
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love being able to provide a top-notch service and help families be stress-free throughout their whole moving experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are taught hands on how to load trucks to efficiently so nothing shifts on the way to your next location. Crew members properly wrap ,and lift furniture safely and cautiously . We ensure they know proper safety techniques when carrying and lifting all furniture. Crew members are also experienced in Sales in Grant Cardone University.

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
