The policy for the moving service cheats customers. The movers are paid the same amount for the time in transit between one location and the other.
I rented the moving truck and drove it myself for 30 minutes to the unloading location. The movers followed me in another vehicle. They later informed me that they were paid the same amount for being in transit as they were when actually moving the material.
This policy adds an unreasonable expense to the customer. Especially as the two men who were moving were simply riding in the vehicle (a third person not involved in the moving was the driver).
In addition, I had warned the movers about a table which I did not want damaged. I even suggested they take the table apart to keep the damage from happening. They attempted to move it anyway, and the damage I had warned them about occurred before they finally did what I had earlier suggested.
Overall, the service was lacking and the expense was far too much based on the estimate we'd received from this company. I would not recommend it to others.

Mo and Jay were on time, professional and went above and beyond. They loaded my truck in 1 hr 15 min (!) and when I realized I had forgotten 2 large pieces, Jay came back to put them on the truck. Can't say thank you enough for all the help they provided!!!
