We had hired “the artful mover” over a month in advance to help us unload our 26ft truck after our military move from Alabama to Virginia. They corresponded with us a week before our scheduled date to confirm and all seemed fine. We drove 14 hours with a 2 year old and a 3 month old in tow (my wife followed me in the truck) and all we wanted to do was to get to our new home, unload the truck, and go to bed. They were scheduled to be there between 4 and 5. 5 o’clock rolled around and not only had they not showed up, but they weren’t answering my phone calls to see if they needed help locating our home. Literally they just never showed, never answered our calls, and didn’t give ANY a explanation whatsoever. So incredibly unprofessional and honestly disgusting to just not show. When you schedule movers and you’ve already paid, you should be able to trust that they’re going to do the ethical thing but clearly not. I would NEVER even consider giving them a second chance to redeem themselves and I certainly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Thankfully, hire a helper was extremely helpful and sent another company out. The one problem with that was they were unloading well into the night and then our already exhausted children were even more tired waiting for our beds to be unloaded which wasn’t supposed to be an issue based on the time we originally had scheduled. Such a shame that “the artful mover” couldn’t do what they were hired for.

Wes and Tommy were terrific. They were on time, got right to work, and efficiently loaded my 16' truck. After driving 1400 miles, the contents of the truck had not shifted at all. These guys know how to load! Several items of my furniture are very old and fragile (meaning "almost falling apart") ... they were handled with great care and made the trip with no damage. You can rely on these guys to take good care of your cherished belongings. Wes was great at communication. He called several days in advance to confirm the details and work out a scheduling snag, and called again the morning of the job. I could not be more pleased.

Wes and crew were prompt, well prepared, knew what they were doing, careful and not in a hurry during the moving process (which we appreciated very much), and completed the job well within the time-frame we needed. The crew was also pleasant and fun to work with. Wes stayed in touch with us before the day of our move, making certain that we were on the same page at all times which relieved a great deal of stress for us. The day Artful Mover came was one of the best days of our move, and they made a huge difference because they moved everything we could not. Do we recommend Artful Mover to others? You bet we do! We couldn't have had a better experience than we had with Artful Mover.

I highly recommend the Artful Mover. They hustled like no one's business. I had the place fully prepped and packed for them to help us move to a moving truck and unload at a new apartment, which helped immensely, however, in 2 hours they hustled and stacked and also got me moved into the new place in that time. Nothing was damaged and they took care to place items where we asked them to. Highly recommend them and will use them again! Thanks Wes & Omar!
