Several things went wrong with this move. First they showed up 45 minutes early, which would have been fine if I had picked up the truck before then. They were supposed to be between 10 and 11, they were there at 915. They did hall a bunch of boxes to the driveway while we picked up the truck. Richard had hired 2 people to help. We were using a 26ft box truck. They took the firesticks off the tv's and I still haven't located them. He took apart my fireplace tv stand because he said they could move it with it in place. However, that's how it was delivered to me originally. The bolts to reinstall it were left in a baggie on my driveway. They took the feet off my couch, which had been brought into the house with legs on. They were left on my window sill. The couch was leaned in a way that I couldn't see the damage done to it. It has several huge oil stains. I had plenty of blankets laying around for such a purpose, much easier to clean oil off a blanket than off the couch. Things weren't moved into the house, they were put in the garage. After 4.5 hours, they claimed they couldn't fit anything else on the truck. The primary thing I hired movers for was an elliptical, it wasn't loaded, neither was the insert for the fireplace. They did carry a few things to the lower level, my other couch was put there but not put together, the cushions were left all over the floor. Sorry for such a long read, just really disappointed. It made for a very discombobulated move. I had to call my kids, I don't like to burden them with me moving.

Richard did a wonderful and amazing job loading a 16’ POD and a 15’ box truck , BY HIMSELF! It was Memorial Day weekend and his help was a no show. With a great attitude, tremendous skill and hard work, he loaded both, with a little assistance from my daughter and me, over five and a half hours. There was a considerable number of very heavy and bulky items included that he masterfully got into the POD and truck and expertly packed. Kudos and thanks to Richard!

The crew will introduce themselves to the customer and answer any questions they may have. Preform a walk-through of the home or apt. so the customer can confirm what is to be loaded. If we are unloading ask the layout of each room for placement of furniture.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Seal all boxes and label contents on the side of the box. Remove all breakable items, jewelry and high value items from furniture.
