the over all move was great no problems there very courteous and did a great job. The problem is when one of the movers offered to move the van up so that they can pull out the ramp. I had a flat screen tv and a garmin gps unit in the truck. He the man there to help unload the truck brought in the flat screen tv but when the up packing was done I went to pull the truck back in and noctice that my gps unit was gone I question the man that moved the truck and he denied it. It was my word against his but I am 100% sure that the gps was in there I had no reason to get it out of the truck since I was going to us it to bring back the truck to the rental place that really put what was a good and happy experience to a very sad and unhappy experience with Jay Ls Moving I would never use there service nor would I recommend them.

Help arrived late but then worked very hard and fast and did a phenomenal job packing a ton of stuff into a truck in the most compact way possible! Very nice guys too.

We hired two movers to move a washer and dryer down from an upstairs floor and then move a new washer and dryer up. They arrived on time and were courteous. However, they did not bring any equipment even though we had specified that they do so.
They didn't put anything down to protect the floors while moving. By the time we realized how they were sliding the dryer across the wood floor without any kind of protection, the hardwood floors were dented and scratched. When the damage was pointed out, one of the movers responded that the damage could be buffed out.
We had a flooring contractor come to the house to assess the damage and he told us that he floor would have to totally refinished since there was damage in multiple areas.
We tried to work with Jay Ls Moving to get the issue of the damage floor resolved but nothing came of it so we had to file a claim with HireAHelper. HireAHelper was extremely responsive and refunded the cost of the movers back to us in a timely manner.
