All in all they did a good job. Only complaint is they packed all of the boxes first and all of the furniture second and did not tie down as they went.

Pender was perfect! Sharon was great at confirming everything upfront and the day before. The movers themselves were super fast - it took about an hour to empty my studio apartment. They also fit everything into the ReloCube I was loading, which was no small feat! They were very careful with my items and super reassuring that they would get everything to fit, which I really appreciated since I was mostly just stressed that it wouldn't :) I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for loading/unloading help in the DC area.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
When you choose Pender Moving, a moving specialist will contact you within 24 hours to get some details about your move (address, time, etc), answer any questions and confirm your booking. We will also call you a day or 2 ahead of move day to confirm.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day, our crew will touch base with you to let you know their ETA. When the movers arrive, they will do a quick but thorough walk-through and get to work.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
• Boxes packed, taped properly, securely ,and ready to go • Empty dresser drawers ahead of time and leave drawers in dresser • Ensure all loose items are packed • Have someone at the destination to advise movers where to place items • For everyone's safety, please keep pets and children out of pathways • Have yard decor packed and out of the way of the truck and movers • Ensure all electronics and appliances are disconnected

We do local, long distance, residential, and commercial moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Moving is stressful. Our favorite part of the job is meeting people and seeing customers relax, let go of their stress, and watch us do our thing. Traveling around is also a great perk
What training do you provide your crew members?
New crew members are mentored under our veteran crew members for their first several weeks (as an extra crew person), we insure that all crew members are trained in proper carrying, wrapping, company expectations, and safety

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
