The slowest, most inexperience movers I've ever used. 8 hour job turned into 12 and a half hours. Lots of damaged and broken items. I would not recommend using them. They did not bring any tools dollies or furniture movers. Refused to set up beds and did not hook up w/d.

I ordered four helpers for a residential move. Only three showed up. They had no tools or dollys so I had to loan them my tools. As stated earlier they had no dollys so, again I had to loan them an old one I had which they broke trying to move the refrigerator. The door frame was damage when they tried to move the refrigerator through. They were unaware that the refrigerator door comes off for moving through doorways. Due to not having a furniture dolly,my custom polished concrete floors recieved some scratches. My instructions on loading the pods were not followed requiring a few pieces of furniture to be left behind, when they packed too many boxes, requiring me to move the remaining pieces myself. The men worked hard but were sorely unprepared and undertrained for the moving job I hired them to do. The major mover team was hired through Hire A Helper. I sent an email to them and received several emails back. They stated they would foreward the email to major movers. I have heard nothing from major movers. I would have hoped they would provide me with a partial refund do to me having to move some items myself. I probably would not use them again.

These gentlemen were great! They were right on time...moved my belongings with care and emptied two containers in two hours flat. They were friendly and courteous! I would recommend Major Movers highly!!!
