I was extremely impressed by the group of four helpers who came out to pack my pods for me. They were on time, they were prepared, they were fast and efficient but also very careful with all my stuff. It was well worth the money I paid to have them load my pods for me!

2 of the guys helped me and my boyfriend move in a few weeks ago into a 3rd floor walk-up! Not sure how they were able to do it, but they were amazingand FAST! Highly recommend Family of Movers.

Two hours late for scheduled appointment. Not happy about that. Paid for 5 hours, took only 3 hours. Still had to pay for 2 unused hours. Looked like I rewarded for being late. Again, not happy about that. I had to provide own blankets, no dolly was made available(so caution if you need). Guys worked hard, did a great job though.

Very professional and hard working. They were very efficient and respectful. William and Tyrone never stopped moving and loaded my two bedroom apartment in a little over an hour. Then took several loads of garbage out to the dumpster. It was exceptional service I would recommend them to anyone moving.

Totally unreliable. They tried to push back the start time the night before. I told it had to be 9 am because I already had a 4 hours window on the truck. He came back with something like his car broke down. It took me to 9 30 before I found this out. Saturday mornings are not a good time for this company. Will not recommend them to anyone! Stay clear!

When a customer books us they can expect a professional, organized, and hardworking crew. We make it our business to make sure the customers are satisfied when we leave. We value customer relationships and look forward to completing jobs without any damage or problems.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day we contact each of our customers to make sure that everything is lined up and ready to go. We answer any last minute questions the customer may have and always call the customer again when we are headed to their job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
A customer should prepare for moving day by first making sure that they have everything organized and ready to go. If a customer is suppose to pick up a moving truck the customer should arrive early to the place of pickup so that any issues can be handled. Also, the customer should be able to tell us what exactly they are expecting to be moved.
What types of moves have you handled?
Our company has done local, long distance, and office moves. We are a well rounded company and we really believe that we have the crew to handle any type of moving experience.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is the customer/mover relationships we build. We value when customers pick us to do their moves and always aim for 5 star reviews. We are a friendly company who has multiple years of moving experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
When we go through the hiring process before we allow crew members to enter customer homes we put them through training at the warehouse. We teach them the details of moving furniture and wrapping furniture so that when we enter a customers house we are prepared for anything.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
