These guys were great! They arrived not only on time, but called me in advance and asked if they could come in a little earlier, and I said sure! They were ready to go upon arrival--one searched for parking (a challenge in Lincoln Park) while the other headed on to the unit with me to plan out how to pack the truck. I had rented a truck that I'd drive across a few states, so I hired Family of Movers for loading only. When I got to my destination in Colorado, I figured out that they had strategically packed things so, for example, my dining table and desk top were placed between the mattress and box springs to protect them. They packed my things with care and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Family of Movers!

Tyrone and Larry are probably the best movers I've ever seen in my life this is no joke they got Furniture in the apartment that I thought there was no way they could do it they were efficient and they were professional and I would use them again and recommend them to anybody!!!! These 2 gentlemen were fabulous. They walked around and asked what was going and I could tell that they were figuring out how to pack my truck efficiently. Although they did go over on time by 1 hour, i was not upset by they. They were kind and respectful and I tipped then generously. I would highly recommend Family of Movers.

They did a good job. Tyrone and his crew arrived within the time period agreed upon. They immediately started upon their arrival with a dolly cart on hand. Tyrone has a way of compressing the stuff inside the truck without compromising the condition of my things. In fact all my stuff were in good condition after unloading. Payment is also easy as they were all done online with a customer service rep. Confirmation is a big plus since the transaction will only be completed if they've completed the job. i would definitely use them again if needed.

I hired this team to remove all my furniture, accessories and packed boxes brom the main floor of my house, (which I am renovating), into a container on my driveway. They arrived later than scheduled because of a car accident (not their fault) they had, just after their previous job but kept me updated on their arrival time while en route. They arrived, assessed the job they had to do with me, organized themselves, planned their attack and got to work immediately. I was prepared for them, had sufficient blankets and cleared the area for them. They worked hard - non-stop until all the furniture and boxes were packed in the storage container. Nothing appeared to be damaged and they did a great job packing the container. I will definitely use them again when the container contents go back into the house after the renovation. For a move like this to be successful the person who hired them must be well organized, have the right supplies (blankets and sturdy boxes, etc.) and have a cleared path to the truck or container. This helps the moving team do their job properly. This was the case here...the guys were terrific,

Tyrone and Larry did a great job! Very resourceful and persistent. They kept rejecting my offers to take a small break until they finally exhausted themselves. They also were great making use of the truck space and securing the furniture down. They gave me an estimate of the time and truck space required upon arrival, and both estimates were on point. WARNING: Tyrone has no problem embarrassing you in front of your wife by maxing out your adjustable dumbbells that you can barely move and carrying them up the stairs and out into the truck with one in each hand :) .

When a customer books us they can expect a professional, organized, and hardworking crew. We make it our business to make sure the customers are satisfied when we leave. We value customer relationships and look forward to completing jobs without any damage or problems.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day we contact each of our customers to make sure that everything is lined up and ready to go. We answer any last minute questions the customer may have and always call the customer again when we are headed to their job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
A customer should prepare for moving day by first making sure that they have everything organized and ready to go. If a customer is suppose to pick up a moving truck the customer should arrive early to the place of pickup so that any issues can be handled. Also, the customer should be able to tell us what exactly they are expecting to be moved.
What types of moves have you handled?
Our company has done local, long distance, and office moves. We are a well rounded company and we really believe that we have the crew to handle any type of moving experience.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is the customer/mover relationships we build. We value when customers pick us to do their moves and always aim for 5 star reviews. We are a friendly company who has multiple years of moving experience.
What training do you provide your crew members?
When we go through the hiring process before we allow crew members to enter customer homes we put them through training at the warehouse. We teach them the details of moving furniture and wrapping furniture so that when we enter a customers house we are prepared for anything.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
