NO SHOW!! Moving With Pride was supposed to arrive at 2 PM on a Friday. By 3 PM they still had not shown up and no one had called us. At 3:15, I called their mobile number and left a message. I also called the office and got no answer. At 3:30, I called hire a helper and they called the mover and left two messages. My husband then called the mobile number 14 times before someone answered. The owner claimed that the crew was at another job that was going over and he’d get an ETA. 3 1/2 hours AFTER the scheduled start time, the owner said the crew would be here by 7:30 pm. Are you freakin’ kidding me?! 5.5 hours late? We have a schedule! DO NOT hire these guys if you have an actual deadline. No professional courtesy. No apology. Absolutely unacceptable! The name of the company is laughable. More like “Moving With Shame.”

Lisa, I understand your frustration. There was no excuse for what happened this day. We have completed hundreds of projects and this was the first incident of this kind and is extremely rare. We have implemented new methods and procedures to prevent this from happening in the future. I was apologizing over and over again to your husband and was trying to explain to him. I understand you guys were upset, but I just wanted to point out that we do care "ALOT". Things do not always go according to plan and when they don't we find a solution. Another crew came and completed your move, it cost you $280 and we paid for it in (FULL). I know we cannot take back the time lost but I hope us paying for your move was a satisfactory outcome. I again apologize for the inconvenience.

DJ and his crew were on time and worked from the time they arrived until the16 foot POD was full. They were very professional and courteous to both my wife and I. The two moving workers did a horrible job putting all china under boxes that was stacked in angles and definitele should fall once the cotainer moves. We contacted the supervisor Lesique, who kindly came the next morning and changed the arrangement of the boxes. However, he missed some things that arrived broken such as the living room table marble surface, a china vase, and I have not opened my china boxes till now to check it. Hopefully, china is safe.

Nabila, I am sorry you were not satisfied with our services. I just wanted to point out a few facts. When my guys arrived to load the container 75% of the items on there was loaded by another company. We understand there was an issue with the previous company and yourself so we were called in to finish loading. The 75% of the items loaded already was improperly loaded. You did not want us to rearrange the entire pod because of your time constraint, and you just wanted us to load a few items. We did not load any marble table and another issue was you didn't have any blankets or pads. You wanted my guys to pack your china in boxes with no bubble wrap, newsprint or anything to prevent the glass from banging and breaking. We explained the risk to you and you ok'd everything. We did the best we could with no pads, bubble wrap or even newspaper. You witnessed what we did and saw everything was secured and was extremely pleased. Now, I am not saying it was perfect, but you called us in to finish someone else's work. Had we start the load i would have been done differently, please take that into consideration.

Called in advance of arriving. Arrived right on time. I explained that the items would be stored in garage since the lower rooms that had water damage were not yet restored. JD and Chris went right to work. They did an outstanding job of stacking the furniture in the garage. At my request three pieces were returned to my first floor. They worked in harmony with coordination and efficiency. I would recommend and use Moving with Pride again. Thank you, Pauline Baldwin

The guys that came to help us move were really nice guys and we appreciated their help. Our scheduled time was pushed back from 11am Sunday morning to 2pm to avoid the rain, which we were totally fine with. That being said, they moved kind of slow. They packed the Pack Rat storage unit nicely but unfortunately, they left stains on our carpet. I tried to provide some towels and mats to wipe their feet on but our downstairs and upstairs beige carpets still have a few stains despite running a shampooer over them several times. I was really disappointed about this and the company reached out to me to make it right. I appreciate their customer service and how they took the time to rectify the situation.

Ryan, we appreciate your business and wanted to remind you, in the future, let the contractors know ahead of time what your special request are, this way they can come prepared and everyone can be happy. If you are concerned about getting the carpet dirty, this is something they need to know to be prepared with floor runners or similar. A slight mention of the concern to the movers when they arrive also would have worked, they would have ran out and gotten some booties. I am glad we were able to come to the understanding that the carpet situation was not our fault. You also had 3 guys and only booked 2 guys, so the guys were not slow you just had more stuff than you thought. :-)

You can expect for us to arrive within the scheduled time frame prepared to conquer whatever the project requires.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should have items that are able to be boxed, in boxes and labeled accordingly. If loading is required they should have blankets and some sort of tie-downs.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled all moves. Local, long distance, office, industrial, govt. contracts, you name it we've done it.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

The favorite part is completing difficult task in a minimum amount of time thru methods of expertise and experience that creates a WOW factor for our customers

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide safety training thru videos and quizzes plus on the job basics and essentials including but not limited to customer interactions, (plt) proper lifting techniques, how to set a desk properly, getting a sofa thru a door and much more.
