Used Gary before and had no problem. Had a "possible" last minute move coming up and fronted $4000. Ended up that the house was too small and the move was cancelled the same day that I sent him the money via venmo. I drove 14 hours to see the house first, but gave him the benefit of the doubt to get things tentatively scheduled. He rushed me to death to get the money, and now that he has it, he doesn't want to return calls or texts at all. Seems like he's trying to make off with $4000. Additionally, his contract only mentions a pro-rated return if work is performed. No work ever took place, so the upcoming court appearance should be a breeze.
