Our movers were awesome! Our apartment is NOT easy to move in or out, 5 flights of stairs, no easy access for the truck, plus the heat. Didn’t seem to make any difference for these guys. They had everything out of our apartment in less than two hours and were very professional!

Mover's response:
Thank you very much.

This transaction was horrible and I would never recommend these guys to anyone. It ended early and even as professionals, they still left our job in the middle of it, abandoning us, after they were booked. We ended up calling hire a helper and they booked us another crew that was polite, professional and careful. I would never use this company again.

There were many issues but the lack of professionalism and how rushed and rough they were with our stuff is top of mind.

My husband briefed them that we have an entire week to pack our storage containers and have things that are very precious to us and new, and we wanted to take our time wrapping everything well and loading slowly. We explained we would gladly pay for extra time but that we’ve moved a lot (8 states in 17 years) and we’ve seen it all and know how things go. We’ve learned a lot and like things wrapped with seran wrap and moving pads, which we provided. I asked the main guy, Warren, about 6 times to be more careful with a brand new very expensive dresser he was moving that I watched him drag across the pod by the legs. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn’t drag it and he would never do that (both my husband and I saw him do it). To make things worse, two pieces popped off the bottom of the legs to which he told me to just file an insurance claim or go get a piece like it at Home Depot. I called a pause on the move after getting upset watching how he dragged it (forcefully and in a zig zag pattern). He had another guy with him but didn’t even wait for him to help. I asked if we could add more cushion to it since the legs were exposed and we’ve had so many things get broken in past moves, and I have done so so so many insurance claims which are mostly unhelpful and very time consuming, and he said no.

I got upset that he wasn't listening to me because the whole point of our move this time is to be slowly and carefully which we had explained in detail and I wanted all the furniture wrapped. My husband tried to talk to him at this point but Warren wouldn’t let anyone get a word in. He denied everything we brought up and lied about how he hadn’t done what we had both seen him do (we have two broken pieces of the dresser in our hands at that point). I had also asked him about five times if he would use the rope ties I bought and he refused, just telling me over and over that he had been doing this for years and he was such an expert that he didn’t need rope. That was weird to me because every mover we have used in the past used rope. There are tie areas in our shipping container. But either way, it doesn’t matter what he thought to me because it is our move and money and supplies and we asked up front and consistently and he refused to listen to our requests. My husband asked him if we could slow things down and take our time to which he replied that he was hot and just wanted to hurry up to finish.

He ended up leaving halfway through packing us. My husband came out to help him collect him his things and overhead him talking about us, in our own front yard and talking smack about us. He said he knew he shouldn’t have taken the job because we were gonna be anal and picky about our stuff.

It’s our stuff, we’ve worked hard to buy it and care about our sentimental items and I will never apologize to a random person for not wanting MY personal belongings broken or damaged. Our requests were very reasonable seaming to us and ones we voiced upfront. Our other movers had no issues and said our requests were not un common.

We also asked them to leave one of the bedrooms alone because our baby was asleep in it and there was nothing to move in it and I found them with all the lights on removing a bed that wasn’t relevant and they admitted they hadn’t even seen a baby sleeping in there in a fold up crib (he was right behind them). He could have been caught in a bad situation with them while he was sleeping if something had gone wrong. But I gather they didn’t listen to us asking them kindly to leave our sleeping child and his room alone.

They called us 3-4 times before our move even started for who knows what reason also. It became annoying them asking details we had already filled out online and asking mindless questions about how heavy our stuff was. I’ve never had movers do that beforehand. I had to tell them that I couldn’t talk to them anymore.

Overall though- he was highly unprofessional and careless. The worst of all my moves. I don’t care if he agreed with me or not, I was polite initially and asked several times to be heard about my stuff. I reminded him it was my stuff. Watching him drag my brand new west elm dresser and see pieces of it fly in the air while he lied to me about it -while i watched him-was too much for me. The cavalier attitude of just filing an insurance claim is so undermining and dismissive to me.

Our guys who came after were amazing and very careful and used rope.

Mover's response:
This customer o wow... Very anal people. Very tedious and picky. D
You hired me to do a job. Let me do the job. No damage was done to furniture. A thumbtack from the foot of a dreesor came off. I was not about to allow anyone to disrespect, nor belittle me or my company. We have insurance make a claim. That's what I told her. But her professional self, wants to blow up cursing talking loud. " cause you a doctor don't mean nothing to me". I politely told my guys l "let's leave, its not worth it". Now we on to the next one. Thank You

On time. Careful and courteous. They wrapped our furniture really well. When we reached our destination the crew that unloaded remarked that whomever wrapped and loaded our furniture was a real pro.

Thank you
