Extremely professional. Listened to our needs and had a clear game plan before starting! Actually cared about our house and our belongings. The workers (TJ and Abdul) were pleasant and appropriately embarrassed that they were late to the job. I was supposed to receive a phone call when they were 30 minutes away, but received nothing! I had to call THEM after it was officially past 8:00 am, and was told there was a screw up with vehicles, and they would arrive in 22 minutes! ?????
All would have been perfectly acceptable if only I had been kept informed! ??
They tried to make up for their tardiness by getting the truck unloaded quickly, but that did result in a couple of the rollers on my sewing cabinet broken! ??
By the time they DID start unloading, we had been working at it for at least 35 minutes…, so when I had to pay for the agreed upon 2 hour minimum, (and they had the truck unloaded in an hour), I would have felt like I got my $$ worth if they had started on time!

I hired them to simply unload my moving truck. They showed up on time full of energy and smiles and got everything done on time. They were above and beyond and even took the door off of one of the rooms to get a large piece of furniture into it. Then they put it back on. They also moved a washer and dryer out of the way that I didn't need and installed my set. I would hire them 10 times out of 10!

There was a mix up about arrival time, but they assured me they would be at my apt. When they arrived, they got to work immediately and were efficient, professional, courteous, and packed my truck quickly and well. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Hire Helper was not accurate but POG Moving & Helping went above & beyond to make it 110% better! Tim, the field manager, followed up with me to make sure my move was done correctly & to help me with a difficult washer-dryer install a reality! Not a typical moving situation but Tim & the POG movers made it work! They stand by their word which is a rarity these days. I’d use POG’s services again & would recommend this company to others.

I ordered 4 guys and only 2 trained and 1 trainee showed up. I paid an additional $400 for a table that was over 600 lbs. Because they didnt have enough guys they dropped the table and broke it as well as damaged my patio pavers.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
your move team contacts you 30-40 minutes prior to arrival. Time starts upon arrival- not before. Your Team lead is an expiernced mover and your move team is a vetted and trained moving team
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Boxes, boxes and more boxes. Have your items ready for load. Larger items and furniture we will manage when on site
What types of moves have you handled?
From next door to the house around the block to interstate moves to each of the 48 contiguous states & Cananda. Then somewhere in between too,
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The customers, every day iis new and different. getting to know someone even under the most stressful of times and having a commonality during this time
