Honestly, these folks were not on time (more like 40 mins. late), and the move took quite a bit of time costing a significant amount more of money. I will say that these folks worked hard, but were quite slow. I hired quicker more cost-efficient movers and am not sure if I will go this route again-

The guys were awesome! They arrived on time, moved the truck to the best position and worked really hard (some of my boxes were heavy).
They were considerate at all times AND got the job done in the allotted time.

They took less than 30 minutes to unload a 17-foot UHaul truck. Even more impressive, their staff never had any piece of furniture touch the wall.
They moved about 20 boxes, couch, chair, bed, bedframe, art, fragile wooden furniture - all with great ease and ability.
They were on-time and professional, and most definitely prepared for the job. I would use them again in a minute. And recommend them strongly to anyone.

Andrew and the guys were awesome. They work so hard. Moved everything where they were asked and removed things to different location at unloading site to different spots when this home owner could not make up mind to where she wanted things. I was less than ready and guys were always respectful and polite. Thank you so much!

I hired Pleasant Moving (4 movers for 2 hours) to load and unload one of those storage units I had in my driveway. We didn't get off to a great start. I left a couple of messages prior to the move and didn't hear back. It was labor day weekend so I knew they were busy with back to college moves here in Boston area. I did get concerned the morning of the first job to load the storage unit. Still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called Hire a Helper who immediately got in touch with the movers. About 1/2 later I received a call. I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to job at the scheduled time because of schedule conflict. Moving to a later time did not work for me because I had to get my girls off the bus at our new home (first day of school). To Pleasant Movers credit, they were flexible to rescheduling til the next day. Made it a little more hectic for me, but manageable since the storage unit wasn't going anywhere. The next day they called in the morning while in route. Job was supposed to start at 10....they were 1/2 late. I will say that first impression of these guys was a little intimidating. They don't come dressed in a professional uniform (ie. tshirt that advertises their company) or arrive in a company vehicle. But if you can get past that, you will be very pleased!!! They were extremely professional and worked hard. I mean they were non-stop!!!! My two hour window was aggressive, they went a little over but not for any reason other than it was a lot of work. I was ill prepared in terms of furniture pads, but Alex made some suggestions and I made a quick run to Home Depot. He worked with whatever I provided to ensure the furniture was protected. It was also pouring rain at one point, but you wouldn't have known it with these guys.. They didn't flinch!! They loaded that storage unit in an organized manner with not one inch to spare! After the loading, I worked with the same crew at my new home. They unloaded all the furniture, assembled everything, and cleaned up after themselves. They took good care of my furniture and definately aimed to do a good job. I was very pleased with their services. They only reason I didn't give them a 5 was because of the timeliness. But I would definately work with them again!!! Thank you to Hire A Helper and Pleasant Moving for a successful move!
