When he called me to confirm the job, we made an agreement that they would show up at 10am. The day of my move he called at 8:30am and asked if I still wanted to move that day because it was going to rain. He was a little put out and the response I received was, "well, we won't be there until 2pm then." It was a tremendous inconvenience, but I had no intention of getting nasty with the people that are handling all my posessions. I felt a bit powerless at that point. 2pm came and went (it never did rain) and I gave them a call at about 2:30. I was informed they would arrive by 2:45 because they were in Dallas on another job!!!!! They FINALLY arrived at 3:20 with THREE young children in tow. At this point, I just wanted to get it over with. Maybe they would make it up to me and it would be an easy move. I have one child that I can easily manage. He is mine after all. There is a HUGE difference between one and FOUR children! They wanted to play hide and seek in the house and tracked mud all over from outside. I spent my time babysitting instead of moving!!! Don't get me wrong, they were sweet children and were very well behaved, but they are kids. It is very difficult to move when you are dodging children everywhere. After we loaded up they asked me if they were supposed to unload me as well!?!? I booked them for an ENTIRE MOVE. They AGAIN seemed put out, like I was asking far too much of them! They then asked me where we were going. I gave them all the information when I booked the job! This move went from bad to worse. They had NO CONSIDERATION for my belongings at all!!!!! They would pile up 8 boxes onto the dollie with the one labeled glass on the bottom!!! I saw one of the movers dragging my mattress across concrete. It now has a hole in it! They dropped my armoire and didn't even bother to tell me. I just saw a large chunk taken out of the front of it. They broke a leather chair because they plopped it on the floor by the armrest. Of course the kids were laying on it sideways after which made it worse. I can go on and on about things that were damaged. Finally, when the truck was unloaded one of the movers had the audacity to say, "Since you are such nice people, I won't charge you for the overtime." Are you kidding me?!?!?! They arrived at 3:20 and left at 7:45!!!! I booked them for four hours! After being 5+ hours late, free babysitting and ruining half my things, he is going to mention 25 minutes!!!! He stood around my kitchen waiting for a tip!!! I had thirty dollars set aside to tip each of the movers. I really couldn't wait to get them out of my house, so I handed him a twenty dollar bill. I am still angry at myself for doing that. As far as I'm concerned, they're lucky I released the payment. I just don't ever want to have ANY dealings with this company EVER AGAIN. Please, please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I have never had such a bad experience moving. Stress Free? More like stressFULL!!!!! Show Response
