John and his crew members did an incredible job moving me from a four story town home to a two story house in one day. When they arrived, I asked if they were up to the task and without a doubt, they were. No broken furniture, polite assistance, and timely service epitomized the quality of work from this incredible crew of four. I strongly recommend them for any job. Just beware, they are honest. If they say something can't be done, it is not because they see a way to do less work; rather, they are telling you the truth. The only real comment of caution is for any future client to let John know what special equipment to bring. I did not and had to go back and dig up some tools to take apart a bed and table. Bottom line - They will get the job done. A+ work.

I could not have asked for anything more from the moving crew. They were all friendly and professional, but the foreman in particular was a customer service pro. They didn't damage a thing, treated my belongings with care, came on time, walked through exactly how we should handle the move, and finished an hour ahead of schedule. The place I moved out of was very tricky to get big furniture out of, and they did it without a hitch.
After completing the reservation on this site, I was told the company would call me to confirm within 24 hours. They didn't, so I called them - and they asked if I could schedule a different day. Fortunately I had a little flexibility in my schedule. Also, my contract clearly stated transportation fees were included in my reservation, but after completing the move the owner called the drivers and asked them to collect it from me in cash. I explained that it was in the reservation already and he let it go -- may have been an honest mix up, but worth passing along.
Overall I would recommend them and their very professional team of movers.

The two gentlemen that came for my move were very very kind and took great care in loading and unloading my furniture. I was very impressed with their service and would definitely use them again.

John's Moving Company was embarrassingly AWFUL. They were 6 hours late. They lied about why they were late (flat tire, but the tire had NOT been changed once they showed up). It was supposed to be a 2-man crew, but their supervisor, "John", showed up w/ a broken foot and tried to charge us for a third man. One of the three workers worked hard.
They were respectful of the property and goods.
John and his crew refused to leave unless the payment was released to him via cell phone. This transaction typically occurs the following day.
He knew that I would complain and wanted to guarantee his payment.
I would NEVER use him again.

I hired John Moving Company to move my mom from a two bdrm apt to a one bdrm in a seniors building. They were excellent to work with. The movers were professional, they packed the truck well and all of my mom's belongings made it to her new apt safely. I would definitely recommend his services.

Unfortunately, they were about 2 hours late, however they did call to tell me they had a flat tire. Other than that, they did a great job. Very hard workers, they wasted no time and got the job done. I would recommend this company. And yes, I would use them again myself.

John Moving Company did what they were supposed to do. They were friendly and efficient. I booked them last minute after another company fell through and they showed up like they were supposed to. The only thing that threw me off was their trunk had no roof. It looked like it had been pulled off. It was a little strange.

Great communication and hard workers. These guys are legit. They moved my apartment in the allotted time without any trouble and were even done a little early. They also didn't shrug off trying to help us with a more difficult task, like trying to get the bed's boxspring through the house and into the proper room. Thanks so much! Would use them again.
