The guys were fast and nice but they just did what no mover ever should... They showed up 2 and a half hours late. That was enough to screw our entire moving day because we had to be at the new place by a certain hour in order to receive the keys and sign papers. Of course we didn't make it in time. They were booked 2 guys for 3 hrs but they were done in 2. First that arrived was PJ and he was polite and fast. 20 minutes later two more guys showed up ( one extra guy probably to make up for the lateness) and they just started working right away. Most furniture got scratched but that was our fault mostly because we didn't really protect it with anything and it is not the most expensive kind either. So word of advice, protect the furniture. The audio video stuff they were gentle with it so everything was good at destination. So just to sum up, they weren't on time at all. They were prepared for the job. They did work hard. Respectful of my property and good, not so much but again, that might have been our fault being the ones unprepared. I would use them again but I would not wait 1 hour for them to be late to call...I would call 10 minutes after realizing they are late. So I strongly advice to call as soon as you notice your movers are late.
P.S. Both companies were nice and they did give us discounts for the whole late situation. We didn't even asked or argued for it but we greatly appreciated it. And I am really sorry guys if you got even less money from the move. I guess it was a sucky day for all of us.

The movers showed up on-time and were very attentive at figuring out the best way of moving my belongings downstairs. I told them the heaviest objects (ones that would certainly require two people) and were understanding. The one issue I had is that many of my pieces of wooden furniture were scuffed/scratched/dinged (irreparably) in the moving process. I was very careful with which surfaces I set them on and at which angles, but when the movers moved them they tried to stack many of them. In more than one instance, the multiple slick surfaces resulted in more than one piece of wood falling onto the concrete sidewalk. At one point, a wooden piece was pivoted on the ground, causing a major scratch into a corner. These pieces of furniture were not exceptionally expensive, but I was not happy that they were dinged in the process when they've been moved cross-country before with little to no damage.

Randy and PJ did a great job! I was so surprised how organized they are esp Randy. I rented a 10' truck and so much stuff went in the truck bec of how randy arranged them starting with all boxes first then furnitures and all others. Transaction through hireAHelper went very smoothly starting off with Howard who explained clearly the process and ending with two helpers who were very efficient. I highly recommend this movers.
