I appreciated how punctual, courteous, and efficient both helpers were. They did the job exactly as it should have been done. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the both traveled to the job site in NJ by public transportation from their homes in the Bronx. That's initiative I admire.

One mover was great, while the other required constant supervision, including what amounted to being hand-holding to pick up the service elevator when his partner had taken it downstairs.

If I could review my movers individually, I would give them each different star ratings. We had one that was a ROCK STAR! He was early, carried a ton at a time (while not damaging a thing), was always smiling and happy, and kept moving knowing that we were paying him hourly. I would give him a 6 out of 5 if I could. The other guy was a few minutes late (which was nothing, it was honestly just a few minutes), but then would carry less than half of what the other guy did. He would move slower, carry things like my bag of sheets instead of heavy items (I was helping too so it really bothered me when he was taking the things I could clearly handle myself), and start talking to either me or ON THE PHONE when I was paying him by the hour. I was not please with him in the slightest. Overall, I would recommend them because the first mover was so great. I would just make it clear in the beginning what they should be carrying, and that you would not extend the time so they need to move quickly.

It's my first time using the service listed on HireAHelper. PJ and his partner (sorry I forgot his name) arrived promptly, a few minutes before 9am. They started right away, very careful with my furnitures, wrapping them well. They were super efficient and were very professional - we were done with the move in less than 2 hours. Highly recommend Top Choice Movers.

They were late by 20 minutes due to train delays. However, once they arrived they went right to work and still managed to move everything into my 4th floor walkup within two hours. They were very professional and efficient. I would use them again.
