They were 2 hours late. But they were extremely nice, helpful, patient, and worked very well with my friends and family.

Scheduled time was 7-8 am, showed up 8:47 without hand carts or dollys (no tools at all). Shamell had pajama pants on that kept sliding down. The job was initially only 2 hrs, but between smoke, snack and bathroom breaks the time stretched to nearly 4 hrs. Jordan did a satisfactory job I suppose, but its insane that my husband and I completely unloaded the truck ourselves and these 2 couldn't get our things moved in a timely manner. The were pleasanr enough but not at all effiecient. We won't use them or hired helpers again as they provided such an unprofessional company.

The fellows arrived a little late but, once they came they were very quick and careful unloading our van. They also helped install two window air conditioners which we did not know they could do.

I didn't need anything moved to another apartment, it was just removing the entire contents of my apt to the sidewalk. There were 2 men, and they were very efficient and worked hard.

This was my first time hiring movers. Usually I ask a few buddies to help me, but this time the logistics were a nightmare.
1) One bedroom apartment stored in a garage connected to my new building (don't ask)
2) The garage was on the complete opposite side of the building (100+ yds)
3) The apartment is on the 3rd floor
Both of my movers, Randy and Marvin, showed up 45 minutes early even though they had to take the bus in from NYC. They ended up having to wait for me to get back home, but didn't complain at all. They were very professional and genuinely nice guys.
Before we started, I knew the 2 hour time frame wasn't realistic given the setup. So I helped with the little things and offered my van as a transport around the building. They worked incredibly well as a team and never stopped for more than a minute for a breather. They always offered to take anything I was carrying and were always respectful of all my belongings. We managed to complete the job in a little under 2 hours.
As for equipment - I provided a dolly and two hand-trucks, which I knew was my responsibility before I hired them, but Marvin actually showed up with a dolly just in case. I thought that was great and it came in handy.
I would definitely use them again and am very glad I found this website. I had no idea you could hire movers without trucks. I would have ended up paying 2X the amount. If you end up using Top Choice, ask for my guys Randy and Marvin.

The movers were 30 minutes late, we were helping as well and moved twice as much stuff in the same amount of time, and they were unskilled with a hand-truck. However, they did carry some items that we did not want to carry ourselves and the price was pretty good so we did not regret hiring them. Next time we would probably pay more for better movers.

Had two different groups movers in the same day from different companies in different cities. I just assumed that the half moving work I got from these guys is what you get for hiring the cheaper workers on the list, but after the second group of movers came I realized no these guys were just slow and unprofessional.
The guys were both very nice. The main one tried to talk more than he worked. They took 3 hours to load what took the other group only 1 hour to unload up 2 flights of stairs and set up. Due to the fact that this is just a gig there picking up not actually being professional movers they ended up breaking my couch and I had to couch them on how to swing it into elevator.(next group of movers actually took the time to fix couch for me). When they loaded boxes they put heavy boxes on light boxes that ended up crushing those boxes by the time we got to next location and put boxes on top of boxes that were clearly marked "Do not place anything on top of".
I hired them for 2 hours which I thought would be a buffer in case it took them a little longer and ended up having to pay them for 3 hours. They moved so slow and were in no hurry to try and finish on time. A friend and I started moving stuff ourselves just to get them done in 3 hours.
Like I said they were nice guys, but I hired them to be movers not nice guys.
