Pro's:

Con's:
--They rushed and were a bit rough with our things. We asked them to be more gentle with some antique items and they just weren't. Some pieces should have been carried upright by two people, but in the interest of time, they turned the pieces (desks, vanity, etc.) upside down and carried it on a hand-truck. This was rougher on the furniture and some pieces were damaged.
--They did not follow instructions. We tried to tell them which items went into which rooms. They sometimes complied with this, but sometimes seemed to put things wherever. This meant we weren't sure where to find some things, and had to move a lot of boxes around after the move.
--Sweat stains - We moved to Houston, which is unavoidably hot. However, I would have really appreciated it if the movers had left the upholstered furniture covered when they moved it and/or worn bandanas or something to keep the steady flow of sweat in check. We had a LOT of sweat stains to clean after the move.
To be fair, I booked the team for 2 hours and should have booked for longer (the job took 2hr 15min). I was prepared to pay more if the job took longer than scheduled, but the movers seemed determined to make the 2-hr mark. This resulted in their rushing, rather than taking the time needed to do the job well. In future I will reserve more time. I think some problems could also have been prevented if we had taken a few minutes to discuss expectations and concerns (theirs and mine) about handling furniture with care, etc. at the very beginning.

2 gentlemen showed up to help. The younger (and stronger) one was a very hard worker and super respectful. The older one had a poor attitude the entire time.
