Unfortunately we had a bad experience with our helpers. According to their advertisement they were supposed to bring wraps, dollys, and other supplies but had nothing in their possessions upon their arrival. In addition we had several pieces of furniture scratched, and even our china cabinet was broken during the move. We have tried contacting the owner for a resolution multiple times but so far have not received a return call. We are contemplating legal action, due to value of the items damaged, and no contact whatsoever from the company. Very disappointed and would encourage anyone to think twice before paying for these services.

Mover's response:
A furniture dolly and a utility dolly were brought to this job-site. Plastic wrap and packing supplies can be provided by us for a fee. This has to be brought up when our agents call you to schedule a start time. At that time, payment for said items will be taken. Note: It is the customers responsibility to verbally request packing supplies while on the phone with our agents. We apologize for the confusion and hope that this will help future customers seeking our services. Thank you.

We hired 3 loaders from Superior Service and they did a wonderful job. We had a lot of expensive paintings and delicate decorative items which were handled very carefully and put into the truck with utmost care. They made sure that there was enough cushioning and at the same time tightening so that they wont fall while in motion. Denny, Stephen & Chris were the loaders who were sent to us and all three worked with excellent team work and co-ordination. I would definitely recommend Superior Service. Kudos

The movers were incredibly late and then failed to load all of my items onto the truck. We didn't realize that some of the items were still sitting next to the elevator on the ground floor until we reached our destination - 10 hours away. I would not recommend this service. Additionally, many of my items were damaged in the move. BEWARE.

Mover's response:
Customer was contacted about our tardiness and given 1 hr of labor free of charge because of our being late. No furniture pads were provided by customer.
We warned Mr. Duncan that some items were not going to make it unless properly padded and he insisted that we load them anyways. NOTE: It's important that customers provide furniture pads for their one-way moves. We are excellent loaders, but there is nothing we can do about surfaces rubbing against each other if no pads are provided.

They were on time and prepared for the job. The work was certainly challenging, and they worked hard, however they did scratch and dent my walls. I know that we were their last job of the day, so fatigue must have played a role. As I've never used movers before, I have no one else to compare them to, so I'm not sure if I would use them again.

It was definitely challenging getting a 4' x 8' couch up a 4' stairway with 90 degree turn landings of the same diameter and an 8' clearance. When wall scratches happen we will fix them immediately. However, in the event that we overlook a scratch and you notice, please inform us so we can take care of it.
Mrs. Li, You will be contacted to schedule a time for one of our handymen to come fix the scratch on the wall.

We have moved several times in the past few years and the workers supplied to us by HireAHelper were by far the best we have ever had. They were on time, prepared to work and worked very hard (we moved out of a third floor apartment). We have several large, heavy pieces of furniture and they were very careful with all of it. They were willing and able to do whatever we needed them to do. We would definately use them again. Thank you Danny and Diego!!

I had a horrible experience. Although the workers came at the agreed upon time, they treated my personal items like garbage. I have extensive damage to several pieces of furniture and have yet to hear back from them for resolution. I would use HireAHelper.com again, but stay away from Superior Service. There was nothing superior about their service.

2 man crew arrived 15 minutes before scheduled start time to unload rental truck I used to move my mother-in-law's furniture to her new place. They were friendly, courteous and never stopped working. I had allotted 3 hours for the job and they finished a little before that. Took great care with her things and I would not only recommend them, I plan to tell my friends to call them for any moving needs.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

You will receive a call from us to verify all the information on the work order, and go over any questions that you may have.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

A call when a crew is in route to your location. Once on-site we will do a quick walk-thru with you and get right to work.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Remove all the contents from any furniture that is being moved. If you have pets be sure to have a designate place where they can be kept during the move. If your moving date is draw to a close and you are have not fully packed you can always call us and we can have an experienced packer there the day before the move to help you be ready.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have moved everything from retail stores, offices and homes to fountains, music and sports equipment. We've also moved weddings, animals, college dorms, pods, pack rats, u-boxes, containers and a wide range of small trailers to big trucks. There nothing we have not seen before so if you have a doubt about an unorthodox situation don't hesitate to call us so we can offer a quick solution.
