Alhood was responsive, courteous, flexible with scheduling and particularly respectful of the furnishings being moved as well as the property to which the furnishings were delivered. The helpers were punctual and diligent. They took a job which could easily have been stretched beyond the minimum time and completed it with time to spare. I would hire them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing helpers for moving.

The Alhood crew, April, Roger, Wess, and Mario, were GREAT. We setup a four hour window never doing the POD concept and were unsure how long it would take to unload. They arrived on time and were set to go immediately. They worked hard, on a very hot day, and completed the job in 2 hours. They were respectful of our property and the community around, since it was an apartment building.
I would seriously consider using them with our next move.

The job on Aug 17 was to pack our fragile dishware/glassware and other pieces such as antique dolls, our collection of handmade Noah's arks, and other fragile display items. They worked very hard and were very careful of our items. They were totally prepared for the job and brought the necessary supplies. We would definitely use Alhood again

They were Great!! I figured their help was needed for two items - a spinet piano and cedar closet - that I could not handle down a flight of stairs by myself. They looked at drive time involved, what still had to be moved, and kept stuff moving until truck was loaded, then unloaded and moved into storage unit. All in the agreed two hour time frame. We could not have managed without their help. They called to confirm and discuss the job shortly after it was scheduled, called again to work their schedule with us around another job. They arrived when they said, had sufficient materials available, and did a much better job than I expected. They also even cleaned up last odd pieces so all was finished instead of leaving immediately as our agreed time was running out. They stayed to finish the job instead watching the clock and running the time out. GREAT CREW !!

My Contact person Peter was very informative and communicative. The 2 helpers we hired were quick and very careful with our possessions. We packed all boxes and they moved furniture and boxes into a pod down 3 flights of stairs! They worked hard and within in the time frame I hired them for, even finished 30 min earlier. They seemed to know how to pack the pod for minimal movement. Hopefully when it arrives it all stayed that way. I would recommend this company.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Our customers will receive an introductory email & phone call to review details & materials important for a safe & efficient move. We will call a day or two before the move to confirm the date & arrival time.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Your crew will call en route with an updated arrival time. At your home the crew will do an initial wallk through to review items to be loaded & they will prep your home's floors, railings & doors with tarps & protection. The walk through is the time to point out any items or areas that need special attention - such as antiques, attics, etc.
