Hi to everyone this is Tim, the owner of Blaylock Transportation Moving Labor. We have 20+ years of experience. We are proud to service the Sacramento area and cover up to 200 miles around the city. We conduct background checks on all our professionals We are happy to accept any size jobs - large or small. We offer help for last-minute requests, taking onnext-day moves! We’ve helped to move homes, offices, storage unit contents and so much more. We can move pianos, new or used sofas (we wrap everything), appliances, TVs, computers, and much more. We can also provide packing services at your request. We don’t charge until we start to loading or unloading. This move was an all around disappointing experience with Blaylock and Hire a Helper. I hired them specifically because I needed a mover with a COI and upon calling to verify the insurance was told they have it. Fast forward to the week of the move, I find out that they don't and am almost left high and dry. The movers were then 30 minutes late, rude and argued with me about how my couch got into the building. I found them to be very negative, slow, and inefficient.
The two worst parts are that they couldn't figure out how to get my 80 inch long couch into a pod that was 96 inches high (causing me to have to ditch my $700 couch and pay to have it removed from the building. And, they caused multiple areas of damage to the building in hallways and elevators. I have yet to receive my packed pod to see how well everything did inside of it, but I'm not feeling too optimistic after how it all got in.
