“ 1 Alyssa F, Baltimore MD reviewing D & R Pro Movers 6/13/2011 I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. They initially accepted my job request and called me to confirm, but needed to change some details. No problem there. However, the *day of* the move, the movers were supposed to arrive between 10 and 10:30. At 10:15, I received a call from HireAHelpe…read morer telling me that D&R had cancelled the job the previous evening, but had failed to inform me. Fortunately HireAHelper was able to find me a replacement service, but they arrived 5 hours later than I had originally planned to move out. Later, when I called D&R to express my disappointment and ask why I was not contacted before the day of my move, no one answered the phone for two entire days. When I finally ended up speaking with someone, I explained the situation, and she proceeded to check their records. Then the call dropped -- so I immediately called back, but again no one answered. I left a message, requesting a call back about the situation, but never heard from anyone. To summarize, I am pretty upset about the kind of service I received from this company, and I would recommend choosing a different mover.
