We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. Dave & Alec we're our movers. Let me start by saying that I don't normally like to have men in the house when I am alone. That day my husband was running late, I was a little nervous but within the first few minutes dealing with these gentlemen I had no worries.
I have never seen two guys work as hard as Dave & Alec. They were non stop until my husband insisted they stop and eat some pizza.
They referred to my husband as Sir and me as Miss, I am 56 & these young men were mid to late 20's. How long has it been that a young person be so respectful whether or not they were working for you?
These young men were truly respectful you knew they respected you & it wasn't an act.
I would HIGHLY recommend these two Dave & Alec.
I honestly can't believe they moved as much as they did so fast, impressive!
They arrived on time & I even received a phone call that morning asking if a little earlier would be OK!

Dave was incredably patient with me as we had to reschedule several times due to a hard to pin down closing date on our house. He stayed over the estimated time by several hours, as I didn't guess the amount of stuff or even the number of trucks to haul it very well. They did an excellent job, worked at an incredible rate - very productive. We hired them for an extra 3 hours to ride over to Whidbey and help us unload what they had transferred from a POD into a U haul truck.

Dave and Axel did a great job moving our piano. Even after I gave them incorrect information that could have ended our day before it started. I told Dave the piano was an upright but it was actually an upright grand ( about 200 lbs heavier)This is typically a 3 or 4 man job but they handled it with 2 and a bit of assistance from me. It was a heavy lift to say the least for just a couple guys but they handled it no problem both loading and unloading. Done in under 2 hours and on budget. Tip those guys when you see them. Great job Ogre Man Movers. Three thumbs up. I would recommend them for any moving job after the care and effort I saw. Thanks dudes. M

I can't say enough about Dave and his team from Ogre Man Movers - they were on time, they were prepared, they worked harder than anyone I have ever seen - non-stop and efficient and respectful of our property - not only the items they were moving, but of the house we were leaving. And what was most remarkable was how well Dave packed the containers - I am sure we fit far more into the two we rented than we would have if Dave had not been involved - thereby saving us money. I would highly recommend them.

I had three movers that showed up on time, were very polite and respectful of my property. No issues at all with them and I would rehire. Most items involved carrying items to the basement so a flight of stairs was involved which was no issue for the crew.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
