They took less than 30 minutes to unload a 17-foot UHaul truck. Even more impressive, their staff never had any piece of furniture touch the wall.
They moved about 20 boxes, couch, chair, bed, bedframe, art, fragile wooden furniture - all with great ease and ability.
They were on-time and professional, and most definitely prepared for the job. I would use them again in a minute. And recommend them strongly to anyone.

Andrew and the guys were awesome. They work so hard. Moved everything where they were asked and removed things to different location at unloading site to different spots when this home owner could not make up mind to where she wanted things. I hired Pleasant Moving (4 movers for 2 hours) to load and unload one of those storage units I had in my driveway. We didn't get off to a great start. I left a couple of messages prior to the move and didn't hear back. It was labor day weekend so I knew they were busy with back to college moves here in Boston area. I did get concerned the morning of the first job to load the storage unit. Still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called Hire a Helper who immediately got in touch with the movers. About 1/2 later I received a call. I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to job at the scheduled time because of schedule conflict. Moving to a later time did not work for me because I had to get my girls off the bus at our new home (first day of school). To Pleasant Movers credit, they were flexible to rescheduling til the next day. Made it a little more hectic for me, but manageable since the storage unit wasn't going anywhere. The next day they called in the morning while in route. Job was supposed to start at 10....they were 1/2 late. I will say that first impression of these guys was a little intimidating. They don't come dressed in a professional uniform (ie. tshirt that advertises their company) or arrive in a company vehicle. But if you can get past that, you will be very pleased!!! They were extremely professional and worked hard. I mean they were non-stop!!!! My two hour window was aggressive, they went a little over but not for any reason other than it was a lot of work. I was ill prepared in terms of furniture pads, but Alex made some suggestions and I made a quick run to Home Depot. He worked with whatever I provided to ensure the furniture was protected. It was also pouring rain at one point, but you wouldn't have known it with these guys.. They didn't flinch!! They loaded that storage unit in an organized manner with not one inch to spare! After the loading, I worked with the same crew at my new home. They unloaded all the furniture, assembled everything, and cleaned up after themselves. They took good care of my furniture and definately aimed to do a good job. I was very pleased with their services. They only reason I didn't give them a 5 was because of the timeliness. But I would definately work with them again!!! Thank you to Hire A Helper and Pleasant Moving for a successful move!

Pleasant Moving of Boston was absolutely out of this world! They didn't balk at the items I needed them to move, and they didn't take issue with the fact that I was less-than-ready for the move. They took charge, moved smaller items out of the way in order to access the larger, heavier items I needed them to move. They worked tirelessly and non-stop.They were on time, ready for the task at hand, and worked so hard. They were respectful of my possessions and carried multiple boxes at once. It was as if I had rubbed a lamp and a genie appeared who made my move happen quickly and (to me) effortlessly. I will recommend this moving company to anyone and everyone I know. I cannot sing their praises enough. And so, I am appreciative to HireAHelper, as well, because if it were not for them, I would not have contracted with Pleasant Moving. Bravo to both companies for a job well done!

They were the best movers I've ever had! Very friendly and everything. I had a wardrobe that would not fit and they took the time to disassemble it for me and take care of it no problem. They also arrived on time despite my early move which was at 7am. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The only problem with Pleasant Moving was that they were over an hour late. This might have been okay but what was a beautiful day turned into a horrible thunderstorm within that hour. I would recommend booking far in advance and scheduling them for very early in the day. I believe that I was their last job of the day and they couldn't come on time because other people kept them longer throughout the day. They were very prepared for the job and came to work. They worked very hard. The entire time I thought that they were not paying attention to all of the writing on the boxes (ie FRAGILE). I was very concerned that everything would be broken when I finished my move. When I unpacked I saw that they had placed everything perfectly and more things were broken in my car than in the moving truck. One table did have a hole in it, but it was crappy IKEA. I would recommend getting some furniture protectors. I would use them again but I would have them arrive very early.

What training do you provide your crew members?
We only hire experienced professional movers with years of knowledge on relocation and transportion. We train some of our movers who do not have as much experience how to properly wrap furniture, how to properly disassemble and reassembled, how to pack a truck ,container or pod properly and well as unloading in the correct manner. We also are big on property protection as far as walls and floors. We focus on your property during your move to maintain a perfect relocation.
