I was very pleased with Lewis Moving Service. They arrived on time, prepared for the job, and worked very diligent to ensure that the job was completed on time. I was attempted to assist with unloading; however, I was told to get away from the truck. :) All three movers were very respectful of my property and goods. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Showed up on time and did an excellent job! Worked quickly and unloaded in less than 2 hrs. The 2 guys were extremely polite and accommodating. I would highly recommend this company and will use again in the future for any moving need. Great job!!

We had originally scheduled Lewis Moving to arrive from 2pm-3pm on Saturday. They called at 2pm to tell us they were heading to Fredericksburg for a 4 hour job, but that they would get to us by 5pm. I do not understand how they thought they would finish a 4 hour job and drive 45 minutes to my apartment in Richmond in 3 hours, but that is what they claimed. I called the HireAHelper support line and rescheduled the movers to come the next day at 9am. That day I received a call at 9:15am saying that they messed up again and would get to me by 11am. The man who called actually laughed on the phone. The movers didn't show up till just before noon. I would not use Lewis Moving Service Again. They clearly do not respect their customers time or even attempt to rectify the situation when they make a mistake.

This is the second time I have used Lewis Moving Svc. They are very professional, show up on time, handle our belongings with care and work hard till they are done. I recommend them highly.

The crew of 3 men arrived on time. They did not have a common uniform despite the ad but they were dressed appropriately. They did the bring the dolly and some tools as promised but when asked to disassemble some furniture (Dining Room table/patio table) they seemed confused although I confirmed with their crew chief the ad saying furniture assembly was included. They didn't have a hammer and a few other items so my husband lent them. They did work hard and relatively quickly for the amount of things we had in the home. They nicked a few walls on the way out and banged the ceiling along the stairs a little at the new home but were overall careful during the process. I would most likely use them again.
