They showed up at the end of the 1 hour window, not the end of the world, but when they tell you 1:15 and dont show up till 2pm that's irritating. They also didn't assemble the furniture as advertised and additionally they immediately started asking for payment which was weird seeing as how they weren't finished. Furniture is still not assembled.

Lulu and not sure if the mans name was damion or what could not talk to him much he had ear buds in. I had a lot of box’s and tubs and I asked lulu why they weren’t putting in the furniture first she said they do those first. Later on she came to me and told me it was time to pick and choose what I wanted to take and what to leave behind. I was stunned by her remark. She then told me they only had 15 minutes left on their time. I told her what was important to go. They did a couple more things said they went over 15 minutes and had to charge me so I paid them and they left. My Granddaughter went out and looked in the truck and found massive holes. My daughter and granddaughter unloaded 1/2 that truck and were reapacking the truck when lulu came back to get her tool bag she left and I told her what they had done and got the left stuff in. She then said in a very nasty voice (well good for them) I had told 2 of my other neighbors about your service to use, made a point to go back and tell them not to use you because of the incompenate and nasty attitude of your employees.

The two gentlemen from Martin Movers were polite, very helpful, thoughtful, and very professional. They were very careful with my belongings. Made sure they didn't scratch the furniture or the walls of my home. I really appreciated their help and their work. They were on time, prepared for a move of heavy furniture, worked very hard, and were very respectful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional movers.

1) They were on-time.
2) They weren't entirely prepared. They lacked basic tools to disassemble furniture and disconnect appliances.
3) They did work hard.
4) They were not very respectful of our property and goods because they completely botched the loading of our rental truck. After they finished, we went to top off the fuel tank. When we returned and opened the back of the truck to toss in a couple of small items, we found they failed to properly wrap all of our wood furniture and properly secure the load, even though we provided them with over 2 dozen furniture blankets and 8 brand new heavy-duty ratchet straps. In just that short amount of time, the contents had already started shifting and coming loose. After arriving in Washington State, we made the extremely painful discover that virtually every piece of our furniture sustained damage ranging from moderate to severe. (Photos have been taken, and will be seeking financial compensation for the damages) Martin Movers did respond to our request to send an employee to come out and partially re-pack our truck prior to our next morning departure.
5) At this point I would have difficulty in recommending Martin Movers.

I held off doing this review until we unpacked the truck up in Washington State and I could render an accurate assessment of their performance. Our packers worked very hard and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, though they were 25 minutes late in arriving at the designated storage facility. For the most part, they did a pretty good job getting the cargo secured in the truck for the long trip up to the Olympic Peninsula.
I realize it's inevitable that some things may get get bumped or even scratched along the way, no matter how well it's packed, particularly over long distances. But our recently restored coffee table came off the truck with some fairly bad scrapes and scratches because it had not been sufficiently covered with furniture blankets, of which I had provided many. Same with a couple of our dining room chairs, also not sufficiently covered.
We have booked this same company to load our house belongings into a moving truck in a little over a week from now. We're hoping the next crew will be a more diligent in making certain our furniture is properly covered and carefully placed into the truck.
